Possible hint towards the next expansion Posted: 24 Jan 2018 04:27 AM PST As most of you may know, Blizzard just officially released Blizzard World, a theme park map for Overwatch, which contains various elements from all Blizzard games. One thing I've noticed is that in Hearthstone's tavern (which is actually a spawnroom), are inside two posters, featuring Blackrock Mountain and a Darkmoon Faire themed wheel. Overwatch's Team should have worked with Hearthstone's on this, since if the next HS expansion truly is Darkmoon Faire, both games will have amusement park themed content, which is the perfect opportunity for them to release such an expansion. EDIT: Keep in mind that these are the only posters inside the tavern, which would make it one hell of a coincidence, and that I haven't found any other Darkmoon poster on the map (there may be another, but I haven't explored the map). Hope this made sense and is plausible as a theory, and is not just a mere coincidence. Cheers [link] [comments]

This week's Tavern Brawl is Nefarian Rises! Posted: 24 Jan 2018 09:05 AM PST "Join forces with a friend to take down Nefarian. Again, Anduin teams up with newcomer Morgl in this new cooperative Tavern Brawl." Nefarian starts out as a 0/200 minion and switches sides of the board each turn. He cannot be targeted by spells and wins if either hero is defeated. At 160 and again at 60 health Nefarian clears the board and becomes immune (Thanks u/HegelianHermit) [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Jan 2018 08:27 PM PST The Year of the Mammoth is winding down and soon we can welcome the new Hearthstone year. When the first card set for 2018 launches, the three sets from 2016 -- Whispers of the Old Gods (WOTOG), the One Night in Karazhan adventure (ONIK), and Mean Streets of Gadgetzan (MSOG) -- will all rotate out of Standard format and over to Wild. You may vaguely know that numerous archetypes will leave Standard, notably Jade decks, most Pirate decks & any decks that run NZoth. But I figured it might help some folks, especially newer players who haven't experienced a set rotation yet, to have a comprehensive list of all cards leaving Standard. Since there's been no Hall of Fame announcement yet, this list may grow by a few cards in coming weeks. Also please note that in each set, I've listed the cards in the same order they show up in the Collection menu: first by mana cost, then in alpha order for cards of the same mana cost. Druid Cards
Hunter Cards
Mage Cards
Paladin Cards
Priest Cards
Rogue Cards
Shaman Cards
Warlock Cards
Warrior Cards
Neutral Cards

Spellbreaker turned out to be the tech char of the meta, not Harrison Jones Posted: 23 Jan 2018 09:29 AM PST Granted, it's not that surprising since Spellbreaker is often a good tech choice, but the Cubelock meta is unmanageable without Spellbreaker. [link] [comments]
