Hearthstone World Championship in Amsterdam

"The 2017 Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) World Championship is finally upon us. The crown jewel of the Year of the Mammoth, the World Championship will be the HCT 2017's swansong. Set to take place in Amsterdam, 16 players—the best of each seasonal championship, and the Last Call qualifiers from every region—come together for the highest glory in competitive Hearthstone."

Structure:

  • Date: Thursday, January 18 - Sunday, January 21
  • January 18 Start Times: 23:30 PST* / 02:30 EST / 07:30 GMT / 08:30 CET / 15:30 CST
    • PST starts Jan. 17
  • January 21 Start Times: 07:00 PST / 10:00 EST / 15:00 GMT / 16:00 CET / 23:00 CST
  • Eligibility: 16 players quallifying throughout the 2017 Hearthstone Championship Tour.
  • Format: Best of 5 Conquest format, 4 classes 1 ban.
  • Bracket: Dual-Tournament group stage (two from each group advance) followed by single-elimination playoffs.
