As the title states, please farm privately. I don't know how many people know this or not but you can go into any level, farm materials then quit the mission without completing it and still have the items. You joining a public mission with people who actually WANT to do the mission is hurting those people. High levels, low levels, it doesn't matter, you are taking up slots for people that WANT to play. If you're worried about dying just unequip your weapons, you won't lose durability. Please don't join pubs and go off farming and not helping other people do the mission. Thanks for reading~

After BR got their new patch, do you guys still think we are overreacting about wanting equal attention?

They got everything they wanted. One player even got his suggested map point added to the game. People got their problems fixed instantly, and were kept well updated throughout the entire process. One argument always made is that they are more of a cash crop. I understand that but some people forget that we can spend money on StW as well. And many of us have. I just want more support. Upvote if you want more support.

[HELP] Ive lost my entire Save The World profile, 100% everything gone

Short story to progress ive played STW over 150 days, spent well over $100 in game etc, im power level 63 and spent the majority of my time helping lower players trying to find friends that one day may advance with me beyond Canny. Then Monday this week i was broswing forums on fortnites website and wanted to answer a post where i knew the answer to help someone out. unable to post i quickly found https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/forums/news/announcements/347-early-access-console-users-please-read which wanted me to link my epic account with my PSN tag, something i skipped at the start because my brother was too excited to play with me (fair enough). i did not believe and still can not believe that this would effect my unlinked game. It did. That night i got on to play just as excited as ever, i had some friends in my level range for once! and the game asked me to purchase Save The World content, even BR content was gone(not a BR post, just relevant). I have a fair background in programming and IT so i unlinked my profile on Epics site to see if it would let me in that way. It did not. (i did close app on PS4, unlink, reopen) it did act like a new account in terms of agreeing to TOS so it counted as yet another account i assume. i immediately opened a ticket with fortnite support and have heard nothing back. I understand tickets come and go and some things take time, but how many days is truly reasonable to be completely removed from content that i have paid for access to at this time? If i was banned or knowingly messed up my account i understand those would be my fault. but this was something they not only wanted players to do, but had it pinned as a important must read. how is this not a bigger issue. also it never let me post anyway, so my goal to help someone still failed. I understand we should all be respecting any rep from fortnite, its not one person causing issues it a company and each person is a human that deserves respect. im a human also and while i might be unhappy my purchases have been taken away because i followed instructions, isnt a ticket priority or some response on timeline reasonable?

Does anyone else find the setup STW has where every player on a single console has to purchase the game is a little off? I accepted it, assuming that at a minimum i would retain that purchase on the account that it was bought. that system has failed me and im sure many others. Is this fraud or a scam, or when is it getting fixed.

I was devistated on Monday, a nice sucker punch. Tuesday and Wednesday I was in disbelief. Now its Friday and This Post, is my last hope i have. I dont care if STW gets all the attention or barely any, ive been happy with it when i can play with friends. Will i have friends to play with when this finally gets back up? i dont think so, too many players leave STW when their issues dont get addressed. i just glanced at my bank account, looks like more than $240 ive soent

Turn on the cross play for PS4 and Xbox players, again? Lol, I just noticed that a fellow player had an underscore in his name (I'm on Xbox), now unless Microsoft changed it to where you can use those in your gamertag within the last 20 minutes, just excuse this post lol. I went to check out his profile, and sure enough, there was no information (gamerscore, name, etc.) and I could not communicate with him within Xbox. Hey, I won't tell Sony if you won't! 😂 Another "perk of the patch" perhaps?

Fortnite Patch 2.2.0 STS - Where Bug Lists > Patch Notes

Sorry for the long post first of all. This is mostly opinion, so feel free to disagree, just don't flame.

So, it seems that STS has come along way since Alpha. I have been playing for a few years now, IGN is Sheeeeeeets, and I have watched the LONG journey that the game has been on, and I just want to share my views after taking about 1.5 months off the game now for the first REAL time in years.

In Alpha, development was VERY slow and COMPLETELY held close to the chest. We wouldn't hear anything for months at a time at one point, then the next patch COMPLETELY changes like 20-30 things that no one ever requested or wanted changed. The one AWESOME thing is, it seemed that bugs didn't stick around too long. Even when patches were HUGE, the game was still rather lag free and playable for the most part.

Once the game entered Beta, we got some attention, ALOT of attention. Things started getting added to the game, communication came and went, still sometimes laying dormant for a few weeks, and new features were promised in dev videos. Some of these promised things even made it to the game, and quite a few of these changes made the game WAY better and less P2W/random even. As much as things start looking up, the bug list at the top of the sub just GROWS and GROWS and GROWS.

I am not talking about tiny bugs that people can live with, allthough there is quite a few of those. I am talking about lag, D/C's, not being able to chat, not knowing who is on your team, not seeing people on the map, and more.

These bugs are piling up with EVERY patch, and it seems that now, the bug list at the top of the forums are bigger than the patch notes for STS. This is the EXACT opposite of what the player base is looking for, especially when they see everything being added to BR and all the love that it's getting.

For the players that have stuck around for awhile and are witnessing this, it feels like a giant kick in the teeth that BR is using the same server, jamming up the queues, and taking resources from STS, especially when some of us threw money at EPIC every iteration of closed alpha to support them along the way.

It really feels that the money I threw in to help development funded BR, and completely screwed over STS in some ways. I keep wanting to log in when I have some hours to game, but being in Twine w/o a real quest line that we have been waiting forever on and looking at all these new horrible bugs that are popping up, has me not even logging in to collect research points.

Hopefully things will get better. I have faith that they will. It's just that I would REALLY like to enjoy this game again, but the bugs and lack of promised content (rerolls, looking at you garbage rolled weapons/traps) hinder me from doing so.

Can't believe I have to say this, but please don't give the enemies an easy way to bypass defenses.

Just now I did a cat 2 fight the storm (level 34), I trapped up one that was on a hill on two sides with a single ramp up. So I trapped the single ramp and mostly ignored the other side except for needed traps.

I notice most of the enemies are ignoring my kill tunnel and heading to the side with less traps, some dumbass built a ramp up the hill so they could ignore most of the traps.

It wasn't to troll or to make us fail. Just stupid being stupid.

And this isn't the first time it has happened.

Can Epic Save, Save The World

With BR taking over the Fortnite we thought would be delivered, it's a general consensus PVE players have been ignored. You took the funding provided for STW, to create BR, and now create update after update to please the BR community.

We are over here hopelessly trying to communicate all the problems going on , which according to some is, "starting shit." Instead if fixing MAJOR bugs, you are adding emotes and maps to BR. For hells sake the maps for STW are STILL THE SAME. They still don't even match the SS terrain.

Compare the subs between the game modes, it's evident where epic puts its effort. Even Twitter has constant updates throughout the day on BR, with the last time PVE mentioned often was the inventory wipe. We get this half ass update, causing more bugs, ruining hero abilities, making the world objects huge, to name a few. But thank god they removed the ability to farm bacon from cornstalks. That was clearly priority over lagging off cliffs constantly.

I love STW. I try playing with the bugs, adding to the patch lists, helping new players start out. But even in global chat, new players asking for advice are being told to not even waste their time trying to play the game as it is now, and to be honest I'm starting to really agree.

Don't give the bullshit excuse that it's easier to update PVP, of course it is, but these bugs have been around for MONTHS. All the bugs reported in BR will be fixed within a week, guaranteed.

Your community is getting more and more toxic because of you Epic. It's hard trying to be positive when your game is obviously being slowly killed off.

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and his current favorite game is Fortnite. My goal is to make a Fortnite themed gift basket for him. I've played enough to know the basics of the game but I'm at a loss of how I can make it themed. The only idea I have is to make the basket look like the item drop boxes/balloon things. Please feel free to drop some ideas!! :) Pinterest and a Google search are being very unhelpful. Thanks guys!!

I've recently started playing Fornite on my own, with no friend just doing mission with random guy selected by the match making and I've always found people willing to help each other with zero sign of toxicity. From what I've red on the first page of reddit people didn't enjoy the new patch and were vocal about it and this started some tought about the community being toxic. From my personal experience everyone I've met was great, expecially today I needed help with a Storm Shield Defence and asked in the global channel. I've invited this random guy and without asking anything he gave me some great assault rifle, helped me defend my base and answered all my question regarding the game. I just made this post to thank all the Fortnite community and expecially sakis2011 that helped me today. you guys rock!

Sorry I know this has been asked before but I can't remember the thread it was in. So I purchased the game on PC, but am going to be away from my PC for a while so I grabbed my PS4. My understanding is that if you purchased the game on PC you can link it to your PS4 and pick up where you left off in the campaign. I have never logged into the game on my PS4, but I have downloaded it. Two questions, how does one link their account to the PS4 version of the game? Also I heard that there was a bug that caused any progress made while playing on the PS4 to not register when I go back to my computer, or that it can wipe your whole account for both platforms. Was that fixed?

Has motivation dropped after reaching Canney Valley 52+ missions and above?

I'm having a hard time continuing with the game and I'm curious to hear from others that have gotten this far. You can tell the Dev's have stopped working on the game beyond that point and because of that, it's leaving me a bit frustrated since us people that paid for STW believed in their project but now feel abandoned. Some would say it's because of Battle Royale and it does seem the likely candidate but a part of me wants to believe they are not revealing a lot for a certain reason and something big is around the corner. Let's just hope it's not another event reveal.

they put so much work into the characters and dialogue and humor in the campaign portion of fortnite, and all anyone plays is the one-dimensional BR.

I started playing fortnite before PUBG was popular, much before BR, and yeah it had its issues, but one thing no one ever disparaged it for was the level of polish and thought put into the cinematics and dialogue and comedy.

how many animaters worked on those cutscenes? how many hours of dialogue were recorded? how many rooms full of writers cracked themselves up writing the jokes?

and how many people who currently play fortnite even know any of it exists?
