| Posted: 12 Jan 2018 05:31 PM PST 70k and 110k+ subs!/r/Fornite has been growing steadily since release while our brother sub /r/FortniteBR just passed 100k users!! When Fortnite released just 6 short months ago, the sub was at only a few thousand users and today we have over 70k! December was our best month ever with over 1 million unique users viewing millions of posts! We are adding over 500 new subs each day! You guys rock! We had a great 2017 with a ton of contests and awesome content created by you guys. We raised over $4,000 for Extra Life. We hope to see a lot more this from the community in this upcoming year. Rule UpdatesAs you may know, we currently have two subs run by a mix of Moderators. We have found a lot of success with the rule set on /r/FortniteBR and as such we are updating the rules to more closely match with theirs. We have added or clarified the wording on rules that were being enforced but not stated, eg. duplicate posts/politics/console wars. The biggest changes will be to our meme rule, we will be matching /r/FortniteBR's meme rule as we have found it works well. As always, we are open to feedback and want to hear from you all. | Posted: 12 Jan 2018 08:30 AM PST To begin, I purchased the Super Deluxe edition during the Christmas sale for about $50. I gave a code to my friend and we both played a little bit of what we could.The game was functioning just fine, I have not had any sort of bugs or crashes in my playtime. What did happen though is absolutely infuriating. I don't remember the exact name of the features since it has been a while but there was a sort of skill tree in the game that you could fill up for the PvE. I placed a point into one of the skills and as a result, the game wanted to give me a reward. This BROKE the game completely because of some loop that I am being given. I open the box only to get an error text box say "Insufficient xp" over and over. To be specific, there are actually two of these boxes layered over each other but both do NOT work and I cannot play the game I paid for. I have sent MANY tickets but they all end up the same with the generic respond bot saying they will reply soon. EPIC this is really frustrating. I tried to be understanding of this situation but I spent GOOD money to enjoy the game and I still have not seen any sort of fix. Makes me want to quit the match. If you're aren't gonna build don't start the mission. If you aren't gonna build at least help upgrade or something. Just because I'm a high level doesn't mean i can do everything or want to. I mean i can but don't want to. Also don't start the repair the shelter mission until you build first!!! I'm on like the 5th one because some lower level just ducking starts it. So please stop bothering people for guns they will come with time and grind. | Posted: 12 Jan 2018 11:53 AM PST The amount of entitled free loaders in Save the World is killing my enjoyment of this game. Every mission I played today 1-2 players did nothing to help the objective. And in my last mission, which was PL58, a PL24 player join us when we're defending the 3 atlases killing off our defender and decides to just farm materials on the other side of the map. This shouldn't be happening. Please add some way of avoiding a player in the future so this doesn't have to repeat itself, or at the very least, please consider this option. | Posted: 12 Jan 2018 10:20 AM PST Title. To expand, I've seen about 5 different ways on how to build a fort, I've seen about 3 really effective ones. I'm curious how everyone builds their fort. I've been playing since about a day or two after EA launch and usually (as a ninja main) have to end up setting up the structure to help defend the shelter/van/ballon/Atlus/Atlus's (Atlusi?) I try to NOT go over the build limit, but once someone has put us over the build limit, I just have fun with it, and make things like sniper towers, a roof to the castle, sloping and double walls to fend off the horde... Yes it means a loss in points towards loot, but what else are you going to do? But that's not what this post is about. How does everyone build their forts up? The pyramid method? The Trap method? double walls no traps? "death tunnels"? " Area of Denial strats? Also, I apologize if there's already a thread out there like this one that's linked somewhere. It's so anoying. I think when you start playing Canny valley STW it starts to be a bit demanding and i like it. I think we need a little bit challenges in this game. And you know what, a level 14 activated the van by himself and fucked us over. It was really early in the mission, we were almost to first day change. He also had only built like maybe 15 things. What the fuck. I'm only PL 24, so it's not like I'm so much better or what have you, but seriously... He had no reason to activate the van without us (only 3 of us in mission). Ugh.
