So apparently Nintendo has started production on the next Zelda game... How would you like them to approach it?

Posted: 21 Dec 2017 03:03 AM PST

I think the majority of people in the community will say that BOTW is phenomenal but I think we all can agree that there is still much room for improvement. Nintendo made a fantastic open-world game but BOTW feels less like a Zelda game to some extent. The lack of focus on dungeons, the lack of story, the lack of enemy variety, the lack of traditional Zelda weapons etc. I am confident that Nintendo can shape the next Zelda game to try and meet the standards of the community, so with that in mind what would you like them to do for the sequel?

Hylians as a race

Posted: 21 Dec 2017 03:28 AM PST

Hey guys, first time poster, long time player here. I want to apologize in advance if my english is a bit off, haven't spoken it in years.

There are two things I'd love to hear your input on. First, are round-eared humans and long-eared humans one and the same? The games never specify this, but use the term 'hylians' only for the latter. We see more normal humans or none at all depending on which timeline advances, which confuses me, since we never see people talk about this subject at all. Second, why are humans in general so weak? They are the only ones to have something resembling an army, but the state of it in most games is completely dismal. The Knights are the only ones mentioned to ever be able to fight monsters, and even that comes at a great cost to them. It goes so far that in SS the goddess removes humans from the surface entirely, while the other races stay behind and survive and fight despite the odds. Well, that's all. Thanks for all replies and thoughts, and happy holidays!

Vah Naboris or Vah Medoh? Which is one is easier?

Posted: 21 Dec 2017 07:05 AM PST

I tried doing Vah Naboris and Thunderblight kicked my ass.. I don't have any good 1 handed weapons, and I have a metal shield... so yea. I made it to Rito Village now and was going to try Vah Medoh now.. Then maybe get the Master Sword before going back to Thunderblight.

What is your favorite Zelda memory?

Posted: 21 Dec 2017 09:15 AM PST

Mine is how I used to play the original Zelda with my grandmother when I was a little girl probably around the age of 4 when we started. She found that it kept my cousins and I entertained the best, and it gave her an excuse to replay her favorite game.

I've just noticed something pretty weird, although I've had TT for almost 12 years or so, and have played it quite a bit, I have yet to beat it, and for some reason I've reset it at least 2 time half way through the game!? Earlier today I found out I'm not the only one experiencing this.. weird. I bet it's Midnas fault
