Once you've beaten the story content for the DLC and you've bought the house in Hateno Village, you'll get a short little scene inside the house by the bed. Just something easy to miss, but worth seeing

Using Rod Weapons bugged?

Are enemies like Hinox completely immune to Rod spell effects like the lightning and fireballs? My attacks just go right through the body without dealing damage, even when aimed at the eye.

I'm 26, a lifelong gamer, grew up on Nintendo. As an adult, my favorite games are those like Dark Souls and the Witcher. So I thought for sure Breath of the Wild would suck me right in and be the exact game I'm looking for. But I just can't seem to get into it.

I did the beginning part, got to the village, got a horse, and got the camera. Now I'm kind of lost. I figured I'd just go get one of these ancient beast things, so I just started wandering towards the one on the North East point of the map. On the way there, I just keep getting one hit killed, or lost, or confused, or all kinds of things.

I can feel it. I'm right there at the surface of this game, but I feel like I'm missing something. Like I don't know what to do or how to get stronger or where to go first. I know this seems like a rant, but I just desperately want to love this game, and I believe I will, I just have to get over this hump of not knowing how to start.
