FPS drop

For the past 2 or 3 patches (can't remember exactly) I've been experiencing massive FPS drops. I did not have this problem before. Usually it was around 60-80 FPS, now, it constantly drops down to 20. Is this happening to someone else ?

A few days ago, I saw this post which was asking for an updated version of the old Randomizer web application. I have had fond memories of using this app, particularly during my early clan days where we would have inhouses using it. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated since the release of Fafnir over a year ago and I do kinda miss it.

With this, I will soon be rolling out a new and improved version of the app. It will have more features and be more practical overall, including:

  • Randomized Starter Items - The old Randomizer was great for knowing what your final build would be, but what about the very start? Well now that can be randomized too, with a couple of parameters available to help determine just how crazy your start is going to be. This is in my opinion the biggest strength of this randomizer over the old one.

  • More God Randomization Options - The old Randomizer allowed you to randomize Gods based on either their class or their damage type (physical/magical). This new randomizer will allow you to control the randomness even more, with the ability to randomize based on Pantheon and basic attack range. Ever wanted to play a game with Roman v Chinese Gods, have an all-out warrior brawl or perhaps just want more randomization options for Solo or Support in casuals? Well we have the technology!

  • Set Your Rerolls - Previously, you had 3 chances to reroll and that was it. Now you can decide how many chances you get, which is especially useful when you also have your starter items to reroll.

  • It will always be up to date (probably) - If enough people are finding enjoyment in using this, I'll make sure to keep it up to date for new patches, including the upcoming Season 5 patch. As long as I'm still playing the game, It'll be up to date and I'll do my best to update them as the patches come out.

  • Open To Suggestions - If there is anything reasonable and within my capabilities that people want added, then I don't have too much reason not to add it post-release.

Here are a couple of demos to show what I've made so far and expect it to be done sometime next week. Thanks for reading this short preview.

Just got into a game with my friend and i was jungler he was adc. The anubis on our team (yeah anubis mid such a great choice) said, "this isn't the meta, do the meta start." He was upset that we weren't doing the meta start and when we proceeded to lose, he blamed our loss on that and afked the rest of the game.

What SPL players do IS NOT META. Don't try and copy that shit because you aren't them. And when someone doesn't try and be like SPL players, don't throw a fucking tantrum and quit the rest of the game.

Low account levels queued with high level accounts?

The other day I was playing a casual conquest to warm up and had a really bad teammate.

Upon further inspection, I learned he was a newer player. My account level is 120 and I solo queued and was matched with a party of three: levels 107, 140, and 153. But then there was a level 29 that ended up in our team. How did we get such a low level teammate? He wasn't a smurf.

How does this shit happen? Is the system saying that I should be playing with lower level people or is this just random?

Changed her to be more supporty than before, as well as adjusted a few abilities or changed them entirely. The previous concept done 9 months ago was quite powerful so I wanted to tone her down a bit. She'll be my last concept (update) for 2017. Waiting for season 5 to do more possibly. THE ARTWORK IS NOT UPDATED BECAUSE I DID NOT MAKE NEW ART.

LORE

Hera is the queen of Olympus, the faithful wife of the cheating Zeus. She is notable for her jealous personality, often punishing the many lovers of Zeus as well as his offspring.

PLAYSTYLE

Hera is a guardian who creates various auras to benefit herself and her allies. Hera is powerful and stern, taking charge in a team fight and turning all heads to her. Hera's downfall comes from her lack of mobility, though she makes up for it in damage and utility. She creates melee barriers of energy in front of her, though she does not have an attack progression.

APPEARANCE

Hera has soft fair skin with long brown hair curled to her left shoulder. She wears a golden diadem and a royal blue dress that hugs her body. Around her neck is a ring of peacock feathers. Hera has a train made of peacock feathers coming off of the end of her dress, mimicking a wedding dress. The end of the train is held by two white cuckoos. She carries a golden staff tipped with a glowing white lotus. Her voice is stern and demanding and she scolds her team mates for doing poorly.


Passive - Matrimony

  • Hera empowers her allies with auras that spawn around her after using an ability, providing herself and allies in a 25ft radius with the aura for 3s. Hera's jealousy will increase the duration of auras by .5s for each assist she misses in a match, stacking up to 10 times.

Ability I - Regality

Ability Type: Stun
Range: 55ft
Radius: 15ft

  • Hera taps her staff on the ground, causing enemies in a targeted 15ft area to be stunned for .75s. At max rank she taps her staff twice, stunning enemies twice in succession.
    This activates her Regal aura, causing her staff to glow white. Allies within her radius gain attack and movement speed. The aura's icon is shown as a white cow.

Damage: 40/60/80/100/110 (+40% of your magical power)
Attack Speed: 4/6/8/10/12%
Movement Speed: 4/6/8/10/12%
Cost: 80/85/90/95/100
Cooldown: 15s

Ability II - Monarch's Safeguard

Ability Type: Wall
Range: 0ft
Radius: 20ft

  • Hera creates a peacock-feather shaped barrier in front of herself that lasts for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5s. The barrier reflects all basic attacks that hit it and reduces the damage of projectile abilities used through it by 10/15/20/25/30%.
    This activates her Monarch aura, causing her staff to glow blue. Allies within her radius gain a portion of Hera's protections as their own. The aura's icon is shown as a blue peacock.

Reflected Damage: 20/25/30/35/40%
Passive Protections: 5/10/15/20/25%
Cost: 80/85/90/95/100
Cooldown: 16s

Ability III - Death Do Us Part

Ability Type: Tether
Range: 50ft
Radius: 10ft

  • Hera targets an enemy god, connecting them with the nearest enemy within 20ft. The tether will remain up to 60ft apart. Any CC the select enemy takes will be reflected onto the tethered enemy at half duration. Reusing the ability while they are connected will slam them together, dealing damage, stunning for 1s, and removing the tether.
    This activates her Marriage aura, causing her staff to glow gold. Allies within her radius gain increased MP5 and HP5. The aura's icon is shown as a gold lion.

Slam Damage: 80/130/180/230/280 (+40% of your magical power)
Passive HP5/MP5: 4/8/12/16/20
Cost: 85/90/95/100/105
Cooldown: 22/21/20/19/18s

Ultimate - Wrath of the Goddess

Ability Type: Buff/AoE
Range: 0ft
Radius: 40ft

  • Hera's next ability becomes a stronger version of itself. After using the buffed ability, the aura it provides is increased in scaling by 10/15/20/25/30% for the remainder of its duration.
    Regality: The area is increased to 25ft. At max rank she waits longer to tap a second time, increasing the stuns to 1s.
    Monarch's Safeguard: The shield is increased to 30ft wide. Projectile abilities will now be reflected back instead of passing through.
    Death Do Us Part: Damage dealt to the primary enemy is now reflected to the secondary enemy at half damage as well. The slam will also stun for 2s.

Cost: 110
Cooldown: 50s
