| Posted: 16 Dec 2017 03:53 AM PST With my current playthrough I am disarming everything. It's to the point now that I kill most things with bashes instead of actually using my mace. I've noticed though that now bandits have two weapons instead of one. Before, they would have to run around the cave searching for a weapon and I'd typically snag it before they could. Now, the game has made them smarter by default and I have to disarm them twice. Skyrim, you cheeky bastard. Edit: And the dual wielding forsworn now have three. Two axes and a sword. It's funny as all hell. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 16 Dec 2017 02:25 AM PST Title says it all. Something called like, "The Order of the Vampire's Blood", where groups of mortals willingly let the vampires feed on them without a fuss, and in exchange the vampires don't turn them into more vampires and, being long-lived, will tend to the safety of the Vampire's Blood, and its future generations, maybe even letting the vampires rule over them as monarchs and powerful mages? I mean, in Oblivion, Janus Hassildor seemed like a cool guy, ruling over his subjects without a hiccup. Surely, if he were to openly declare himself a vampire and tell his subjects, "Hey, if you don't, like, kill me or anything, I'll still be your beloved ruler and shit. All I need is that a few of you volunteer to be my blood bank. We cool?", then with a forever-living monarch by their side, Skingrad could grow to rival that of the Imperial City! | What some must play side quests? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 05:17 AM PST I beat the main quest + Dark Brotherhood + Companions when it first came out and later the Dawnguard + Dragonborn DLC. However I am missing quite a bunch of sidequests. What are the must play side quests and must visit locations? Thanks. EDIT: Talking about sidequests found in base Skyrim but I'll try sidequests from mods too. Just be sure to specify where. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 15 Dec 2017 06:46 PM PST I've always ignored it in my previous playthroughs. I'm currently a punch cat who decided to start stealing things, and I'm having a blast. I decided to raid the people working a mine away from any large town. I emptied everyone's pockets and ran away to riverwood where Lydia and I camped outside the town. We woke up surrounded by mercenaries sent by one of the miners. Lydia and I killed them all and went back for the guy, while he was on a night perimeter check. There were guards around so I waited for him to walk into the mine and followed him in. I made sure there was no one else around and tombstoned him from behind (the unarmed kill cams are amazing). So 10/10 would do again. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 16 Dec 2017 02:42 AM PST Just restarted as a Dunmer. I have my primary Redguard character (I'm North Indian so he looks like me) who grew up in a village in Hammerfell but was told stories of his great great grandfather who was a Nord. He comes to Skyrim to explore the land of his ancestors. Build began as warrior but after leveling those to 100 he explored the arcane arts and became a destruction mage. My Dunmer is an orphan who escaped Morrowind with his parents. They fled to Eastmarch and began scavenging for food in the icy tundra. Some drunken Stormcloaks murdered my character's parents while they were searching for firewood causing my lifelong hatred of Stormcloaks. I then made my way to Cyrodil to work as a teenage laborer until I came of age and decided to return to Skyrim and seek my revenge against the Stormcloaks. The character has a lot of internal hatred which I hope to channel with the Dark Brotherhood. He'll also make a fine Legion soldier driven simply by his rage and hatred for Ulfric and his men. What do you guys think :) Edit: thanks to those that reminded me of how young the rebellion is (I really need to improve my lore knowledge). So now I'm thinking his parents were murdered by racist Nords sick of more refugees from Morrowind after witnessing the changing demographic over many years. [link] [comments] |
