Hey Niantic! You guys made a game we all have a lot of feelings about...and this is our spot to express those feelings and make some statements about ways we think the game could be even better for us - and by extension, you!

If you want to complain about the game in a less constructive way please do so in the Salty Sunday - Rage Rants and complaints thread.

Here you will find ideas and suggestions - a mix of the positive posts and constructive criticism that reddit's Pokemon Go community have compiled and discussed and up/downvoted by importance and validity for us all. If there's one post on /r/pokemongo you guys should be paying attention to, it's this one, so please do.

I've been waiting for 20 minutes at the Sprint Store in Baldwin Park, CA, and no one has come yet. I've been waiting so long for a Mewtwo, but now it looks like I won't get it. :( Niantic needs to change the Ex Raid system.

[Story] EX raid today with 10 players

It seems common to post stories about EX raids on this forum, so I figured I would share my experience today.

I was getting nervous 15 min before hatch, when there were only 3 people at the gym. In the end, we had 1 Instinct, 1 Valor and 8 Mystic. All were present (no spoofers).

The Gym was blue on arrival, so I dropped a pokemon in. The gym was never contested before the hatch.

I was a bit worried that we would complete the raid and then others would show up, but that didn't happen.

I enjoyed the fact that the raid had a smaller # of people (I've seen other raids with 55+ people, making splitting up a bit hectic).

I ended up with 13 balls. 9 out of 10 of us caught it (unfortunately, the Valor player received 7 balls and did not catch his Mewtwo). One was a young kid who caught his first Mewtwo!

Another wave of EX passes has gone out and the system is still terrible. I say at this stage in the game they ought to just release mewtwo for all. They could treat it like farfetch'd but as a level 5 raid boss for a limited time.

I know it goes against how exclusive they are but at least we wouldn't have to see anymore EX Raid posts where people voice their frustrations about not having one. I don't have a mewtwo either so I understand. Just to put that out there. I just want to get over this hump already, Niantic. It's getting old. Thank you.

[Story] Karma is a bitch and I love her... EX Raid

In my city is a Gym where you can get an EX Raid invitation and most of the trainers know this. I decided to only raid at this gym (F2P) and try to get the gym badge to gold. We took over the gym and defended it with golden razz berrys. After a few hours I have noticed that the gym is attacked again but someone else is feeding our defenders. But he fed all Pokémon except mine. After my Relaxo was kicked out he placed his Pokémon in the gym and they (or he) defended the gym for a very long time...

I know this guy from our Valor Whatsapp-Group and he asked us to defend the gym etc. (This really pissed me off) Yesterday I got a message from a few guys saying they got an EX Raid Invitation and I noticed I got one too. But guess who didn't get one? That guy who "kicked" me out of the gym. BTW: His gym badge is gold...

Well, Karma is a bitch. Thanks Karma! Don't be that guy...

Pokémon GO Plus completely stopped working

I haven't used my POGO+ for like 7 months, and I connected it to Pokémon GO again a few days ago, but it doesn't flash or vibrate at all. I made sure that it is turned on for both Pokémon and Pokestops in the settings, and I reset the Pokémon GO Plus (it vibrated/lit up correctly while resetting) and then re-connected it to Pokémon GO, and it doesn't vibrate or light up for Pokémon or stops.

I tried it on both my iPhone 6S+ on iOS 10, and my iPhone X on iOS 11, and it doesn't work on either of them.

I haven't tried to change the battery because I don't have any batteries that size, but it does vibrate/light up while resetting, and it doesn't show the low battery sign in my app.

I'm looking for a decent, inexpensive ($100 or so) tablet that is Wi-Fi (doesn't have to be cellular) that I can hotspot a kid onto to play Pokémon GO. The tablet really doesn't have to do much else, though she'd probably like it if it played Minecraft, too.

Any suggestions?

[Bug] Disappearing revives

Hello, I have just had an issue with 6 max revives being used on my pokemon during a raid, only to have those pokemon become fainted again afterwards, with the revives disappearing. I was just in a Groudon raid, and my 6 pokemon were knocked out. I was about to rejoin after max reviving them, but before I could rejoin Groudon was defeated and I was moved on to the bonus challenge. After he ran from 12 golden curved excellents (totally not salty) I checked my pokemon only to find that they were still fainted, and my 57 max revives was now 51 as if I had used them in the raid.

Has anyone had this issue before?

I'm currently having issues logging into the pokemon trainee club account of mine. I have no issues with gmail but i cannot log into my PTC account, is anyone else experiencing something similar?

[Discussion] Dodge Glitch Meets Solar Beam - Ridiculous Mechanic

Obviously with Ho-oh and now with Groudon, I've observed a ridiculous glitch that has been in the game since the beginning that OHKOs every single one of your Pokémon unless they're absurdly high EVEN if you dodge.

Couple that with the weather on clear day, and I've yet to see one Pokémon survive a solar beam at level 39. Yes, solar beam is a 33% chance, but I seem to run into it often enough for it to be a problem.

How can Niantic think it's fair in any sense of the word to have a boss that relies not on skill in the least of high level attackers, but rather just launch double the amount of players at it as an excuse for higher difficulty? Kind of lazy imo. This is a very serious problem that Niantic needs to address going forward. Maybe they don't know the impact of solar beam raid bosses with the dodge glitch?

"Gps not found" blinking on and off.

The last week or so there are two of us experiencing this. Both on WiFi and cell data. It makes stuff unplayable. Anyone? Help.

Edit: It seems that many have the same problem, most after the gen 3 update, but for all is worse indoors and WiFi does not help. No solution yet.
