Hello members of the /r/hearthstone community,

This is part of a series of weekly threads aimed at both new and old players from the community. It is designed so that everybody may ask any and all questions regarding the game's mechanics, decks, strategies and more.

Please keep it clean and try to add more than just a one or two word response. As the goal of this post is to increase the community's knowledge, the thought process matters as much as the answer! There is also a Theorycrafting Thursday weekly post, for those who wish to discuss some of the more intricate aspects of the game.

4chan built a deck with bad legendaries to get players to waste their dust. It’s currently the #1 rated Warrior deck on Hearthpwn.

EDIT: Hearthpwn mods crashed the party and removed the deck and Kolento's name. It was fun while it lasted. At its peak the deck had more than +250 votes and due to all the attention the deck was getting it quickly rose to #1 spot in not just the Warrior category but all the way to the frontpage of Hearthpwn as a whole. I hope (You) didn't end up burning your dust with this deck.

Someone on 4chan's Hearthstone general /hsg/ said the Hearthstone playerbase is so gullible that if you upload any deck on Hearthpwn and claim a big streamer had a decent winrate with it, people will blindly craft it. To illustrate this they came up with a Geosculptor Yip + Oakheart control Warrior and claimed Kolento streamed it with a 69% winrate. Their mulligan guide for the deck was "Always hard mulligan for Bring it On, play it turn 2 against aggro".

They initially only upvoted the deck maybe 10 times themselves before it started snowballing and Hearthpwn users took the bait. Some Hearthpwn users actually made YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y47qEQLQzd8) showcasing the deck and talking about how awesome it was to see control Warrior back in the meta. A few posts questioned the deck and said they can't find the deck in any of Kolento's VODs but these nay-sayers were swiftly downvoted so the ruse was never blown. I guess ironically Oakheart might not be as bad of a card as 4chan initially thought and crafting him might not actually be just a waste of dust.

So The Runespear REALLY is bad. My three options after attacking were Rockbiter Weapon, Ice Fishing, and Lava Burst. I chose Lava burst just to see what I'd kill

Dean Alaya is asked the following question :

"Can you talk about some of the toughest balancing challenges you've had in recent memory ?"

and he says :

"In terms of particular cards, we actually had a card called Seeping Oozeling. I think now it's a six-mana - 5/4 and it says "Gain the deathrattle of a minion in your deck". I won't go into all the crazy details, but it used to be five mana, and if you did something in the earlier parts of the game, you could play a three-mana card that might end in a draw, and in the right circumstance, it basically ends the game. It's like, you can't do anything against it."

Does someone have any idea what combo he is refering to ?

George is pretty friendly, asking if he's seen you around before, but it's Karl's "Oh no, not George!" at the death of his friend, that I caused, because I wanted to, for fun.

And then if you try to talk to him, he has this almost mentally challenged, certainly child-like, and definitely afraid "I don't talk to strangers!"

Too late mate, doesn't matter if you talk or not. You're dying.

I mean, wowzers.

but full disclosure, I'm the person who gets slightly bummed out hearing other dying sounds, like Reno's pitiful begging for something other than death.
