Add a permission that lets people place items in our houses

Why isn't there an option to let people add their own furniture to houses. It would make decorating guild halls or shared homes between partners so much easier. Only having one person able to place items is ridiculous and just adds to the tedium.

This must have been asked quite often and google brings up some topics but most are old and there are some questions I can't find answers to. I tried ESO just after release and the ONE tamriel update really seemed to fix alot of my issues I had. Been meaning to try it out since.

Firstly, is playing ESO solo or with one or two friends possible? How much would I miss? Are dungeons/raids/world bosses able to be soloed or done on a two man team? How much would I/we miss roughly?

Second, are there any legally run private servers? If not, any suggestions for the lowest population? I know this is an MMO but I'd rather see as little of others as possible.

Third, how much do builds matter in ESO? Again I know this is a MMO so technically you always want the most out of a build as you can which kind of makes my question redundant but I ask because I want to know if I could make a build I find "fun" instead with it being somewhat viable. I know some MMO's there are areas/bosses that you simply can't beat without being totally optimised. Will I run in to that here?

Before anyone says "Just play Skyrim if you want to play solo." I've beaten the other TES games a dozen times each. I'd like to play this for the questing and world (even though I know it loses a lot of it due to its scale as an MMO) but would much rather play solo or with a few friends.

New player here. Lvl 8 Rogue (don't remember the class name). I've read some thread on crafting already, how to level up, deconstruct and so on. Still have some basic questions: - What are writs? I don't understand what you mean when you name those writs thing. - Where can I find basic recipes? I wish to craft some basic Hp potions but I can't find the recipes. How does it works? - What is the average bank/inventory space I have to aim for to stack all thos mats. I'm already full and the gold needed to upgrade my inventory is far from my reach.

Magicka Heavy Attack rotations vs non Heavy attack rotations?

Which is better? For me on a target dummy, my Heavy Attack rotation with a VMA staff out DPS's my non heavy attack rotations but everyone recommends non heavy rotations. I get that you cant heavy attack while blocking but I would just swap to a non heavy rotation during those times. Is that what the majority are doing?

Am I doing something wrong for my heavy attack rotation to out DPS my non heavy one?

Non HA rotation: Curse, Liquid, Blockade, Clench, FP x5, Liquid, Blockade, Clench, Curse, FP x4, Liquid, Blockade, Clench, FP x4, repeat

[PC] Clockwork City Quest in Wayrest Bank, No DLC?

So in the Wayrest Bank a guy approaches me with the "To the Clockwork City" quest. I haven't accepted yet, but the strange thing is that I do not own the Clockwork City DLC nor am I a current subscriber. So, why is this quest showing up? Can I complete it without DLC?

Feeling kind of alone

So I recently started playing on PS4 EU,but I have had trouble with doing alot of content due to being a solo player,so I'm getting a bit down about it, guild want gold to use any of the features so can't socialize with guildies, if anyone can recommend anything to help I'd appreciate it.

Post game grind

Is the post game grind huge to this game? I'm a little overwhelmed about getting crafting up and wondering if my character would be viable for VMA. I'm enjoying the game but is the chase for best gear as necessary as I think? Or would it be ok to just play and my character naturally grows to something viable. This is my first mmo so I'm a bit of a noob. But I want to try trials and veteran activites and just want to know if it'll take me like a year to do that or something more manageable. Thanks for any and all advice! I love this game I just wanna know if I'll hit a wall if I don't min max like a madman

Future Summerset DLC Location & Story Speculation.

I haven't seen anyone bring this up and I hope I'm the first one. Everyone knows that at the end of the Clockwork City DLC questline, there were hints of the Summerset Isles being the next location and that Divayth Fyr would warn the Psijic Order. I have an idea of where and what would happen in this future DLC.

If you talk to the Grand Prognosticator at the Vale of Tiers, they will tell you the player character's prophecy. I think this is after you finish the main quest and the Cogs of Fate quest. The Factotum would say the following.

"Dreaming... One netch. Two netch... Prophecy complete. I see an island. A tower. Three Princes. Darkness spreading across the land. I see a golden knight and an unexpected sacrifice. I see... an end..."

"Everything must perish. That is the way of all reality. But the end that I see... you can alter the outcome. The variables indicate a minuscule percentage point in your favor."

"A chance... Lord Seht and the Three willing. Reflecting... reflecting... probabilities calculated... odds generated... demise certainty... ninety-nine point nine-nine percent. And Summerset is the sequence of the words."

An island could refer to either the Isle of Summerset (the main island) or Artaeum, the home of the Psijics. The former is because we know it's the Summerset Isles province, and the latter is because the Psijic Order is getting involved.

The tower, which I think is important, could refer to Ceporah Tower in Artaeum or the Crystal Tower, near the city of Cloudrest. Both are very important with the latter being one of the Towers, which is a part of a much higher concept.

The Three Princes are Clavicus Vile, Mephala, and Nocturnal, who are collectively known as the Triad. Sotha Sil confirmed this after the events in the Cogitum when you are talking to him in the Elegiac Replication. Mephala is most likely the first one we will deal with considering the other two were already dealt with in Vvardenfell and Clockwork City respectively. Also since the Spiral Skein (Mephala's Realm) is confirmed.

The rest is pretty self-explanatory, there is a sacrifice of a Golden Knight, and the player character is unlikely to survive the confrontation. I don't know who the Golden Knight but could be an Altmer character we meet in the story. The part about the player character, I don't know anything that could happen, I assume that we will survive because we can't just die and have the game be over unless this is the very last thing in ESO and we die like the hero in TES II: Daggerfall. Tell me what you guys think, sorry for the long post.

Hello, Vestiges!

I got ESO for PS4 as a gift from my girlfriend on June and I leveled up a character, playing the main questline and I really enjoyed the game (in a way that I didn't feel in an MMORPG since WoW's best years).

The problem is: I am finishing university now, and since I work and study, I am always thinking if I should invest some time in a game or not, before actually playing it.

I am afraid to spend too much time playing ESO for PS4 and then when "PS5" launches, everyone will buy and the player base will fall considerably, making the game not worth to play anymore, compared to the PC version.

What are your thoughts about it? Are the console versions really condemned or do they have future? I would really appreciate some advice.

PS.: My computer cannot run ESO (I already thought about buying this version).

I'm really tight on money right now; When is the expected next sale?

Long story short; I am really short on money and won't get any that I can spend on ESO until around 1 or 2 months pass. So I just want to ask about when is the expected next sale. Really bad timing though (for me; I should have expected a Christmas sale) and I've been waiting for a sale since Morrowind release.
