A Message from the Team - 2017 Posted: 22 Dec 2017 04:52 AM PST Dear Hunters, 2017 is coming to an end, and with this we celebrate 10 months of theHunter: Call of the Wild with you. A genuine and big thank you to all hunters out there who made it possible for us to write this message. We enjoy working with you very much and we are humbled and grateful to have such a dedicated and passionate community. This year has been a wild ride, full of lessons and feedback for the next one, which we can't wait to kick off together with you. More than 30 patches have been released this year, with bug fixes, improvements, new content and more. From the Bearclaw Lite up to the Hunt Club, we try to bring you something better and new every other week. Our work is far from finished and you are helping us to make this a better hunting game for everyone. While working on new things, we will not neglect core gameplay. We will continue to make improvements to existing systems, behaviours and much more. Our goal is to be swifter, more thorough and precise with these improvements, especially once all platforms (PC and consoles) are up to the same patch level. In terms of next year, we have heard your feedback loud and clear. More animals and more variation on existing animals, as well as equipment such as weapons, is big on our list. We also have some aces up our sleeve! Expect things never seen before in theHunter. Stay tuned for more details as we roll them out once they get closer to being reality. Until then we wish you a fantastic end to this year, a great and healthy holiday, and of course plentiful game to hunt! Most of us will be taking a small break and return early next year to continue where we left off - even stronger than before. Thank you for being part of this journey so far and we are looking forward to continuing the hunt together with you.
