| Supporting in Recalibration games - don't think you should worry Posted: 23 Nov 2017 02:15 PM PST Some folks had expressed some concerns around supporting in calibration and whether it would affect you adversely or whether you should just pick carry/mid every game. I've played 6 calibration games so far and supported every game. Doesn't seem like I'm dropping by virtue of playing support. My game averages according to Opendota avg (old system) have been 4488, 4199, 4341, 4011, 4244, 4679. I lost the 2nd and 6th games. Played safelane and dual offlane support every game so far. Has seemed relatively consistent so far (that last one was pretty tough for me with a bunch of 5k players in it) and I'm expecting to come out around the equivalent of what I started at (or maybe even a bit higher). What's the experience of the mid or carry only people been? [link] [comments]  |

Right now, I'm on the road to completing my party calibration first, since I'm grinding with my friend. My seeded party mmr was around 2k, and my seeded solo mmr was around 4.5k. Here's my question, if I calibrate my shitty party mmr first instead of my solo mmr, am I gonna get stuck with a shitty badge? Or will solo mmr increase it after calibrating party? | Posted: 23 Nov 2017 04:57 PM PST My teammates flamed the shit out of me this game. I wanted slark mid, but went to sidelane after I predicted a bs was going mid. I was pressured during the laning phase - and I just tried not dying. My goal was to be more about utility rather than damage, because of our team lineup and thier hard counters. The midas pickup was for securing levels and farm in this hard game - they said rushing sb was the right choice. I had trouble trying to keep up my farm, because I didn't really know where it was safe to farm - also didn't want to take farm away from medusa. All game, my team was saying about how much I fed. I was actually giving up greedy plays in order not to feed, and trying to avoid getting ruptured(which I did). Please analyze this game. Match ID:3578586601 [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 23 Nov 2017 10:28 AM PST I realize with heroes like AM you cant just spam W but with Pangolier it's really hard to quickly spam a vector targetted Q. Sure you can just not target it but that's like -500 damage to your opponent. [link] [comments]  |

In my opinion, Enigma is not meant for jungling this patch at all and must be only played solo offlane. From what I see, there isn't a popular guide for offlane and the only guide from Torte is for jungle. I've written down most of what I could do while testing it in the guide. I'll try to upload some VODs later. Because in most of the games i finish before i even get to it but this time the game was hard and lasted long. I decided to go +8 excorcism ghosts which is worse than +6 treants i know. And we won the game because void killed himself on me after he chrono me when i already ulted. I healed quite a lot because i had octarine core on me. In which situations would you rather pick excorcism grants haste? I think its undispellable and you cant be slowed right? Pls tell me your thoughts [link] [comments]  |
