Let me preface this by saying I've never been more than a slightly above average sniper in previous Halos, but for whatever reason sniping is piss easy for me in Halo 5. Curious to see if this is anyone else's experience.

Halo 6 armor customization idea

So we all know that armor (black under suits, space diaper, overall look) is a pretty contentious topic for some people. Well an easy way to solve this and make everyone happy in Halo 6 would be just to allow us to choose the base armor, led say chassis, we want.

For example, say you want a classic look. Then you would pick either the Mark IV or V category. This would decide what your undersuit and style would be then you could choose the specific helmet, chest, and pauldrons you want. Like the look of Halo 4 and 5 better? Then you could choose the Gen 2 series and work from there. Different armors would then only be available with the corresponding base.

I'm pretty sure that others have mentioned something similar before but I think it would be a great way to please every one in the community while also creating a more interesting lore reason to have old armors in the game other than "old armor retrofitted to work on gen 2 platform".

Coming from someone who recently sold both their Xbox's for PC upgrades, I miss playing Halo. I played Halo 5 on XB1 and the multiplayer was fantastic, seems like a great game to port to PC.. do you all think Microsoft will port it to PC or not?

What makes Halo great

Earlier today, I was watching a video on what makes TF2 a great game. The video boiled it down to: the movement which allows you to dodge fire and not only get from a to b and the low amount of automatic weapons making it rewarding to hit shots with single fire weapons. This made me realize Halo is the same way. Each engagement feels rewarding because each shot takes skill to hit and each shot can be dodged (at least from non ars). Tell me what you guys think because I think these two things are at the core of what make Halo great.

What are your thoughts on the Carbine since the weapon tuning update?

I get why they made the change, it was very clear at what they were trying to do but I'm noticing quite a big difference since the change and it's been noticeably unreliable.

Their goal was to not make it as strong in the long range game which I agree with but what I'm noticing is even a big change in the mid range game where it's supposed to excel the most at.

I'm only here to talk about the Carbine (as i know people have their opinions on the weapons as well) at mid range, not the long range. Have you guys noticed a considerable difference? Maybe it's just me :(

Long story short I lost interest in halo but I bought the mcc and halo 5 and took the short cut and saw the cutscenes and that ending with cortanna humming and what sounds like a flood scream just game me the chills. I can't wait for halo 6!

I'm guessing she plans on activating the ring and its gonna be an all out fight with promethians, flood, and usnc. Covenant would be nice but I don't see why they would still exist. It's a shame we only got flood in halo wars 2, a series I'm not fond of but oh well

Can never find a match in MCC anymore
