| My rant today about Rockstar Support. Posted: 16 Nov 2017 06:45 PM PST Bought a little over 700$ worth of shark cards since the beginning of my character. Went to create a new character and deleted the wrong one, my level 340 with pretty much everything bought that I could buy. Opened a ticket with Rockstar... got escalated to Tier 3...and still said they couldn't do anything since I "manually" deleted my character. Before anyone says it... I know it's my fault and I know that I should of been more careful. Needless to say, I won't be spending another dime towards Rockstar Games. EDIT: They got back to me again after I provided proof of purchase of the shark cards. I got credited a total of 56 million GTA$ deposited and my rank adjusted to 340. | Posted: 16 Nov 2017 02:50 AM PST I usually run gta on very high settings (gtx 1060 6GB) and can get around 80-100 FPS, sometimes it spikes to 120 or 140 sometimes it drops to like 55. The other day i messed around with some settings and i was able to keep FPS at 75 smooth and it felt quite nice. But today the game crashed due to something unrelated to GTA and i had to reset my settings (start game with safe mode or some shit) and now my FPS is again going 110, 98, 105, 88, 100, 80 etc - which setting do i adjust to keeps the FPS stable? So I put my original disc in, and started a new game. It went into the prologue and when they need to get out of the bank, Mike says "cops". Except there aren't any... And Mike and Brad freeze at their place and don't move. Sometimes, the cops do show up but then after completing the prologue, the screen turns blank and nothing happens. The purpose being I'm a inner city middle school teacher and I have many students who have learned to hate reading... But they all love anything remotely related to GTA. | [help] Can't access GTAV (online) and can't access social club site Posted: 15 Nov 2017 05:12 PM PST Hi, when i start up GTAV online or offline i get a long loading screen in social club followed up with a message stating: ''The Rockstar Service is unavailable (code 202). Please try again later or check the GTA Online Status page''. It has been this way for a few weeks now and decided to do something about it. I've looked up on many forum for code 202 and here's what i have done to try to fix this issue: - Run the commandprompt procedure and restart PC - checked if DNS was running automatically (it was) - re-installed GTA V - Started up Internet Explorer and visited a random site - Checked if the GTA servers were up (they were) I tried these things and the game still gives the same msg! I also can't access the social club site for some odd reason (atleast not efficiently) Anyone know some other solution? (PS i use windows 10) [link] [comments]  |
