Posted: 05 Nov 2017 05:41 AM PST The biggest problem I have with the gameplay in FO4 is that I feel it's just too damn easy, and often in the most unrealistic ways. For instance, it seems to me the weapon and armor crafting systems make it so you're focused on investing perk points into your crafting skills too soon. That results in you eventually having the most powerful weapons possible for your level, and thus the enemies are just too easy. Especially since the weapon customization options almost always seem to be some sort of good, better, and best options. Or how the radiation storms are this really cool environmental hazard, but they put out such little radiation that you don't even feel the need to hide from them. What should be a major environmental threat ends up being nothing more than a mere nuisance even very early in the game. It would be nice if the storms exposed you to a ton of radiation and put you in a very dire situation if you didn't find shelter quickly. I'm working on developing some play styles that restrict the easier aspects of the game and finding mods that make the difficulty more realistic and challenging. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 05 Nov 2017 04:38 AM PST I'd like to see a more post-apocalypt atmosphere in Fallout 5, similar to FO3, where everything is dead, in ruins. While I love NV and really like FO4, both lacked that atmosphere, it's so bright and colorful. There's nothing like walking through the CW, you got a sense of the constant struggle to survive and total isolation, I want that feeling again. Share your thoughts. [link] [comments]  |

By the looks of it this is going to be a big one. | New vegas xbox one draw distance messed up Posted: 05 Nov 2017 01:11 PM PST Had new vegas installed for a while now on my xbox one but just recently i got the ultimate edition. The mountains in the game now glitch out and dont load correctly. When your at the top of a mountain and look into the distance you see bits and pieces of the landscape and not the whole thing. This also happens with other things in the world like the smoke in nipton which kept flashing in and out of existence. This never happened with my digital copy of the vanilla game, only in this used copy of the ultimate edition. Tried reinstalling but that did nothing. Is this just me or is this a know problem? It cant be the disc because xbox 360 games install from the internet when your connected [link] [comments]  |

I know it's post-apocalyptic or whatever, but no other post-apocalyptic franchise does the same to me. And let's be honest, Fallout isn't exactly the most depressing game out there. | Good Sanctuary Clean Up mod? (Xbox) Posted: 05 Nov 2017 01:40 PM PST I've been searching for a while and I can't seem to find a mod that just removes some of the scrap lying around Sanctuary. I hate how the floors look a tornado flew in and for some reason you can't pick up the piles of leaves in the house. Is there any good mod that just picks up some of the trash around the houses? | Posted: 05 Nov 2017 06:58 AM PST So being pretty un-tech savvy, I've really only just found out you are able to mod Fallout 4 on consoles. I just assumed it was only able to be modded on PC. With the little bit of research I've done this morning, I understand you need the patch for it before you can install mods. How do I get the patch onto my ps4? Im sure this is a dumb question or I'm missing something easy. Obviously there is DLC for the game such as Far Harbor. Is it like embedded in the dlc? What am I missing?
