It's taken way longer then expected. I got a Hellcat Waistguard and Pox Faulds. | Just fell in love with Diablo again Posted: 05 Nov 2017 01:08 AM PDT I played D3 a lot before RoS but got bored of ot eventually. Picked it up again once RoS came out but only got halfway through the campaign and didn't even reach the new lvl 70 cap (so when I got back on for the first time in a while yesterday I was level 67 with Paragon level 19 which was weird.) Idk why I feel the need to share this but strangely enough I hadn't played at all for 2-3 years then just the other day I heard a bunch of crows that made me super nostalgic for some good ol' New Tristram zombie slaying - so I got back on. I picked up where I left off and finished the campain and finally hit lv70 with my barb and I have to admit I was kinda getting bored again by the end of that... but then I got to adventure mode. And ran through a rift filled with COWS. And got a buncha new gear and now I look like an Egyptian Samurai. So yeah now I'm hooked again. And super hyped for S12!! If anyone wants to party leave your battle tag thingy and I'll hitchya up, I'm planning on going DH or WD so yeah edit: also if anyone wants to show me the ropes thru D2 I really want to play but never really got the chance to so yeah that'd be cool [link] [comments]  | ||
| New player needs a bit of advice on RoS and D2 Posted: 05 Nov 2017 06:58 PM PST Hi guys/gals! I have never really played Diablo before. Never played the 1st or 2nd game. I did apparently buy Diablo 3 a few years back and forgot I had. I had been in my Blizzard app more than once playing WoW now and then as well as Hearthstone, but never realized I had bought D3. So, I saw I could install the game the other day when I was about to buy Overwatch (haven't yet, but will), so I did! I had only bought the standalone game and not Reaper of Souls, though. So, I dived in and am having a blast! Really enjoying the story mode so far. I spent waay too much time scouring every inch of Act I and just entered Act II. So, yeah, pretty new still. Playing a DH, BTW. Anyway, my question is should I buy Reaper of souls now, or just wait till after I beat the game once? What will change if I get RoS? I tried to read up on what you get with the expansion, but apparently can't make much sense of it. I don't know if it will kinda mess up my current playthrough or not. Is it worth it for you guys? Also, regarding Diablo 2, nostalgia aside for you all lol, would this be worth picking up for $10? I mean, knowing that I enjoy 3 and all. How much does it differ? Pro vs con etc. Thanks much! | I have a few questions regarding optimal progression and builds(seasonal and off-season) Posted: 05 Nov 2017 02:02 PM PST So I got back into this game after a very long hiatus. To give you an idea, the auction house was still in-game when I stopped playing. Anyway, got back into it and have been loving it. It's an entirely different game from launch! I am, however, struggling with my post lv70 progression. I'm currently paragon level 67-68, currently in TIV. My WW Barb is surviving, and is able to take out elite packs, but it generally takes 10-20 seconds. Also, if I don't keep my band of might buff up, arcane orbs and lightning effects kill me pretty quickly. My questions: How do I go about getting the items I need for my build? I'm going for a Wrath of Wastes WW build? How soon can I tackle GR's to get legendary gems I need, and how hard is it to upgrade them? What's the best way to farm the set pieces/legendaries that I need? What should I try to gamble my bloodshards on to flesh out my build? How do I push out of TIV into higher tiers? How will I know I'm ready for at minimum TX? Any advice that can be applied to seasonal or off season play is welcome, thanks you! [link] [comments]  | ||
