| Why techies isnt in Captains Mode for this TI ? Posted: 04 Aug 2017 12:57 PM PDT He was nerfed almost every patch/subpatch after 7.00, yes he was ridicoulous on realese but almost unplayed rigth now in high mmr matches with horrendous winrate So objectivly why not letting him in captains mode considering that he is so weak ? Alchemist and Puck lvl 25 talent becomes a lot more strong I think, and it could lead to some insane late games. It would be interesting to say the least. [link] [comments]  |

| How to transition from Support to Carry Posted: 04 Aug 2017 03:28 AM PDT Hey guys, I have been playing support since I started playing Dota about 1 1/2 years ago. Back then I calibrated at around 2k which I still believe is pretty fair. Since then I havent actively played solo ranked anymore but have been playing in parties at around 3 - 3,5k MMR very regularly. When I am playing solo pubs now I dont feel like I can actually carry the game as a support since there is just way too much randomness to cores in this MMR. Dont get me wrong, I dont think I am doing like a super good job, but even if I manage to win all three lanes for my cores it can still easily end up in a throw that loses the game more often than not. That's why I recently started to more often play carry roles. I mostly prefer heroes that have a strong affinity to splitpush such as Anti-Mage, since I feel like the lack of map awareness in this MMR is very easily exploitable. Unfortunately Anti Mage takes sometimes too long to come online, since in this MMR people constantly and always fight which is great for creating space for me as a carry, but its very bad to fight constant 4v5, because then I am without T2 towers at 20 minutes in and I havent really found a sweetspot of fighting and farming with AM in this MMR tier. What I am searching for in advice is basically other strategies that can be exploited very well by heroes in this certain MMR. What do you guys believe people lack most often in in this tier and how can I take advantage of that better? Best wishes [link] [comments]  |
| Can I get some tips on how to play Mirana effectively? Posted: 04 Aug 2017 01:52 PM PDT She's one of those heroes I just never learned how to play.. I know how she works just don't know when to use my ult or niche mechanics with the ult, like does it go through creeps? I assume not but I've seen some weird hits with it when I was standing near creeps. Also one of my friends suggested rushing the aghs on her, is this viable. I play pubs and don't plan on moving into ranked as I'm sort of casual and ranked is just too toxic imo. Thanks for any suggestions! [link] [comments]  |
