This has been a issue for several years and i think riot should consider fixing this already. Posted: 05 Aug 2017 10:31 AM PDT Just a short time after releasing their Hot Topictm champion, Xayah, Riot teases Ornn, their first coffee-shop hipster. "Having been born in the mountains," reads the teaser page designed by Riot Narrative, "Ornn only drinks, like, the freshest coffee with water from the Frelijordan hot springs. You can't get it just anywhere, it's pretty legendary." The brand Ornn drinks was discovered to be an advertised roast from Trader Joe's. Not only does he drink coffee, Ornn's main defining feature is a goat mug. Leaks reveal that Ornn drinks premium roasts to receive a variety of buffs and reasons to criticize you for going to Starbucks, rolling eyes emoji. This was the small indie company's most intensive campaign yet, featuring a Frelijordan song you've probably never heard of before. (Battle Boss Brand) Posted: 05 Aug 2017 11:26 AM PDT The new brand skin features 2 indicators that are exclusive to this skin: a display of the amount of passive stacks enemy champions have on (in form of 1-3 blue flames above the enemy champion) and an ult hit counter. While the second one is irrelevant in most cases i do think the first one is a pretty major thing. Often in lategame fights you only focus one target and use ult most likely on it. After that its pretty unclear to which other champs the ult and the other aoe abilities bounced to. The stack counter offers clarity, making it easier to understand which enemies have how many stacks on them. Why is this feature skin exclusive when all it does is offer clarity? Shouldnt skins give no advantage over the standard skins? Yes, all of them. I know. The horror. That precious 82 gold you weren't going to back in lane to get anyway. Here's the thing though, I'm not doing this because I decided I didn't like you and want you to have a horrible game of League of Legends. Me "taking your farm" actually helped you out. HOW COULD THIS BE? Well sit down and let me learn ya somethin'. When I killed all that precious farm you were spam pinging me to back away from, I shoved your minions into his tower. Your loyal little buddies are all going to be slain by the tower before your lane rival can return, thus denying him both the gold and experience of minions that would otherwise be alive had I, your benevolent jungler, "backed off your farm". Not only does this deny gold and exp for your opponent, it also resets the lane to where the minions will crash into each other at the middle of the lane like the game had just started. Every other champion has moved onto more efficient build paths due to the item being a really slow buildup and ultimately makes your item build clunky. The reward for having to incorporate a 750 gold stacking item that gives no offensive stats is, at 20-ish minutes, you can reasonably expect to be on par with people that have itemized into lethality, crit, or on hit. This makes the item extremely unappealing to almost every ad champion, to the point that the only champion that builds it is ezreal. For AP champs the item is in a better spot with most champions at least performing decently. Ultimately, the item needs to be buffed(which is directly buffing ezreal). There are other champions that have itemized it in the past such as jayce and varus, but in their current state I doubt they would build the item unless it was insane. | Hovering over your own portrait to cast Lux ultimate causes it to go backwards. Posted: 05 Aug 2017 09:39 AM PDT Correct me if I'm wrong here. In this clip, it looks like scarra casts his ultimate while hovering over his own portrait, and it fires in the opposite direction of the way his character is facing. Tried it in the practice mode and it happens to me as well, but weirdly only during a movement command. It doesn't do this when I cast other abilities. Instead, the spell travels in the direction of my cursor (toward the portrait, no matter what angle the character is facing). Even stranger, if you cast your ultimate on the portrait while standing still, it casts in a seemingly random direction (although it always pointed me away from my base). Anyway, I did some googling, and apparently this was an issue for a lot of skills around 6.17. It was patched but Lux's ultimate seems to have been overlooked (dunno how that works). /e Taliyah's ultimate also seems to have the same problem.
