Beginners crafting guide

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 01:31 AM PDT

Ive played since launch, have never crafted anything, made anything, researched anything, made glyphs or even created an iron bar, EVER.

Ive paid my way and i think its time to learn. Are there any beginners guides i can follow? Im not even sure on how crafting works on this game to be honest. I think after 3 maxed characters its time i learnt.. tips and hints appreciated.

anyone else sick of the RNG? ZOS: it's 2017, give us a decent token system!

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 03:42 PM PDT

Today I have opened my 200th undaunted chest (from the time i started counting, i'd say about 250 all together) - and have not gotten a SINGLE llambris piece.

I can't take it anymore, and I can see why Deltia quit and after being a sub since launch I am officially calling it quits.

I will not resub or play the game until the RNG BS is replaced by a token system.

Stamina Nightblade 45k DPS on 6mio for Horns of the Reach

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 09:27 PM PDT

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYYfJJi-50I

This test was done on PTS; there is going to be one more phase of PTS changes next week, but I don't think they're going to be major influences to stamina builds at least, as the patch itself is not a big change for us. I was using 5 NMG and 5 TFS, but don't forget that NMG is a debuff, so in a raid, only 1 person should use it. If someone else is wearing NMG in your raid, just simply equip Hundings/VO gear instead of it and you're good to go. Some people may say that I got higher DPS on dummy because I had pen from NMG, which is in fact true, but do consider that in a raid, this setup is WEAKER than having Hunding's Rage/VO if NMG is applied by someone else.

Does this game have an RP community that is actually active?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 08:29 PM PDT

I've been playing ESO on and off for a good while now and I just really want to find an RP community that actually does RP and it just sit around and have the occasional ERP argonian and khajiit fuck fest. I RP in WoW every now and then but Im just so sick of all it being is military RP like guards and stuff or just goldshire whore houses. I play on PC NA so maybe that's why I struggle so hard? I know EU has a higher RP community base than NA at least on the statistics of WoWs activities anyways. So if anyone can let me know anything that'd be pretty nifty.

Are stamina Warden healers possible?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 06:45 PM PDT

Been having a bit of fun levelling my Warden Bosmer (I'm so tiny!).

In most MMOs I like to play a class that can do all three group roles. Is a stamina healer in any way a good idea?

PvP Stam Support Warden Build Guide: Heal in Negates

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 07:41 PM PDT

Been having a good time being a Support/Guard/Healer as Magika as a Warden. Turned it over to Stamina and...it's just delicious healing inside a negate that's being bombed and being tethered to a bomber and Permafrosting with Destro alt. Wanted to share the build with you guys.

[Discussion] What's with the magicka bias in this game?

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 01:26 AM PDT

Every time I'm in PVP I see nothing but shield stacking/eye of the storm groups. How are these things not seen as ridiculously op and cheap? I have over 1200 hours as a stam blade and even catching someone off guard and executing my rotation correctly, the fight can turn around from a damage shield being applied. If NBs are the best class at ganking then where the hell did it go? Just frustrating to run into the same cheesy tactics over and over again. Oh, and the stamina sustain nerf isn't a big help either.

Guar She Blows

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 09:04 PM PDT

I really don't understand the RNG in this game. Too a break for a few months. Came back, decided to piss away some crowns. Bought some crates. Get the white guar and then two crates later get the dwarves guar (sweet). Along the way I get multiple flower hats. Crazy, I really seems like RNG gets stuck.

ESO is great, but how to make it the BEST!

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 10:32 PM PDT

Personally, I think ESO is the best out there. I love the voiced quests, the connected stories, lore, personalities, all of it, ESO is truly an amazing game, but some people dont think that which is is so confusing to me. SO I was thinking of some ways that would make eso feel truly open world, and go beyond any mmo even more. Let me know if you guys agree or disagree I love hearing the views, and opinions of my lovely ESO community! 1. Wayshrines - What if we got rid of wayshrines all together, or even just got rid of many. Think about this at the point of having all of them, I never really explore just to explore anymore due to going to my destination being a click away. The world is massive, but if that was taken away the world would, feel on a more large scale, aswell as I would see even more players out, and about, and I always look for more life in the world! 2. A reason to return to hubs, or travel to them - Now imagine this, after we do that one amazing quest in that small town the devs put so much work into, we actually return there for a new, or more important reason other than roleplay. For example, A certain merchant in that town sells items that are not sold anywhere else, a quest line that leads you into that town making you travel there for a certain mount, item, and more. 3. Even more quests that offer massive exploration - My favorite quests in ESO are when I start from one hub, and have to explore and head to another far away place learning, and bonding with the world around me. Now if we had more of those the world would feel ten times more lively than what it is even though it already is on a whole new level of lively! 4. Grouping tool - I remember back in an old game I use to play, the grouping tool was different, you would que looking for a group, and it would list players looking for a group aswell. Now this would help build social relationships, all while ESO offers that solo stuff aswell. It would be amazing! Now imagine all four of these all put together... wow I would be addicted. I would be able to travel the large world, with reasons of returning to a place, see tons more players traveling the beautiful world our developers put so much work into, and grow more friendships. I just feel although I see tons of players, and socialize, It gets to a point later it is a teleport game where you wayshrine one place, do the grind, and never return. Imagine the longevity of the game, it would build larger desire for a ESO plus subs, less need to even have the crown store, due to more subs in the desire for using all that amazing content, and although people love being by themselves, and doing solo, everyone loves to see players enjoying the game aswell. I will still be sticking with ESO as I have for years, due to how amazing this game is, but let me know if you guys agree! :)

[ps4] nightblade bomb build sets?

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 03:18 AM PDT

What is an alternative armor set to use for a bomb build instead of clever alchemist? I just used up all my materials crafting a set of juil and don't want to spend the gold. So what other sets would be effective?

Buying ESO Morrowind on PS4, Have some questions.

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 02:21 AM PDT

So, me and my cousin game share a lot. And we recently bought the Elder Scrolls Collector's edition on playstation store. It comes with a bunch of mounts and stuff, along with Morrowind. However, unknown to me, doing some research I found out that ESO + was a thing, that there is more dlc and so forth, my only question is, if my cousin purchases the dlcs from the crown store or even an ESO + membership, will I also be able to access the dlc ans benefits of ESO +?

Could use a quick build critique from any experienced MagDK PVPers

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 02:21 AM PDT

Finally brought together a build and participated in some CP pvp after following a lot of tips posted in the theorycrafting thread Thursday. Brought together this build primarily for dueling/Solo and small scale PVP. CP campaigns and BGs if not dueling. Any combat tips/combo tips/skilll and gear advice would be greatly appreciated!

CP 440 Dark Elf Vampire

5 Light/1 Heavy/1 Medium All Impen with Max Magicka enchants on Armor. 2 Gold Spell Dmg, 1 Gold Reduction on Jewlery.

Double SnB (Sharpened/Defending Swords, Reinforced Shields)

2 pc Skoria 5 pc Shacklebreaker 5 pc Desert Rose

Atronach Stone with Tri Food (3.4k+ Bonus)

Buffed Up in CP Cyro I'm at (rounding): 37k Magicka 24k Health 16k Stam

1.1k Mag Recovery 24.5k Spell Resist (29k on back bar) 24k Physical Resist 2.3k Crit Resistance

Front Bar: Talons, Burning Embers, Flame Lash, fossilize, flames of Oblivion ULT: Ferocious leap

Back bar: Coagulating blood, Entrop, Volatile Armor, Igneous Shield, Elusive Mist ULT: Clouding Swarm

What, if any, would you change? What's tips do you have for someone who's main is a NB (who's used to using his offensive as defense) and switching to a DK.
