LFR in a nutshell

Blizzard please consider to increase the length of the restricted area timer, when flying over Dreamgrove, Trueshot Lodge or Emerald Nightmare.

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 05:27 AM PDT

The five seconds we get to turn around is ridiculously short. First of all there are cases where you get the 'Nightmare takes over' warning and you turn around directly and it is isn't even enough to break the debuff, taken lag and reaction timing into consideration.

Secondly when you are trying to fly over the Hunter Class Hall you miss just a few seconds too make it to the other side without being ported back.

And last but not least, nobody is going to take advantage or exploit a longer restricted area timer. An increase of five seconds is a small QoL change that will not hurt anybody and is easily implemented.

Highmaul Coliseum needs to be changed.

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 08:01 AM PDT

Currently to do Fight, Kill, Survive you are required to...

-Be level 100. No higher, no lower.

-Have a rank 3 gladiator sanctum. (Means you need to have gotten 4000 bones in Draenor aka run Ashran on a 110 main because it is 110 only now or have it from back in the day.

-Talk to the ogre in your garrison to enter. A pain if you want to quickly teleport someone or have to relog for a few mins you need to go back to enter.

-Enter once a day, one a week if you win. (100 bones to re-enter... Impossible to get on a PvE server basically)

Reason for my suggestion to change : I have been trying to get into the pvp arena for the past 9 days. I enter queue and have my audio high to hear if it goes off. I check back, take a shower, still no queue. I watch some youtube on my phone, fish in game, quest, do tons of misc stuff to pass the time... No queue. I spend on average 12-14 hours in queue each day in hopes that eventually I will get into a game and get even 1 out of 100 kills needed. I've even tried offering to pay people 30k each to queue up not even to help me win on stormrage with zero luck.

Suggestions :

-Make it queable at level 110.. I've twinked my toon at 100 but I won't mind all the gold lost if I can at least get it later on.

-Remove the requirement or put it down to gladiator sanctum rank 1.

-Allow us to queue from anywhere like most battlegrounds.

Anyone think these ideas are okay? I've just been playing my 100 paladin for so long and it feels so demoralizing that I can't do anything to get into a game. I tried here, the wow forums, discord etc.... But no one (Except one other person) has gotten back to me. And the others that do are 110s who don't know about the achi and try to help even though they don't have it unlocked.

Mostly I'd just like to ask anyone who feels as I do to submit a suggestion to blizzard in game basically saying what I have said. To remove the requirements or boost it to level 110. Thanks a ton for your time in reading this. I have nothing else better to do while waiting in queue and running all the raids for mogs I can/want this week :l

[Dungeon Tip] Lower Karazhan (for DK, could work on Priest)

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 08:43 AM PDT

At the opera event (atleast the monkey one) while the actors are doing their annoying long dialogue you can "skip the dialogue" with your Control Undead Ability. Simply put your undead next to the boss, dismiss it and recontrol it. The very moment you dismiss it the bosses will start the fight despite still being in their dialogue and you can hit them.

Control-Undead Macro if someone wants it: (remove the _ )

_#showtooltip Control Undead
/script PetDismiss()
/use Control Undead

First press dismisses your pet, second press casts Control Undead

Arcadian War Turtle is disappointingly small

Now that blizzard is 'fixing' high mythic+, can you also fix the Bursting cheese?

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 07:46 AM PDT

Bursting is the affix where when a monster dies, it applies a stacking dot on all party members dealing X% max hp in damage over time. Usually this is handled by either pulling small packs, or simply damaging mobs in a smart way so that the buffs don't stack or reapply themselves on too high stacks.

A new trend has developped where people simply pull insane amount of packs (easy because its tyrannical this week) and then when the mobs die, simply unequip all gear so that they drop down to ~600k hp. The healer then barely has to heal anything as simple hots tick the targets to full instantly.

I myself am a 2.4k Mythic+ score player and it is so annoying to see these practises happen live on stream. Over the last week it really seems that Blizzard is trying to balance out all dungeons with the recent hotfixes, aswell as tuning down some overtuned bosses.

I suggest that the dot calculates on application how much damage it should do, or even easier, let the dot keep you in combat till it drops, this would easily stop this disgusting cheese of one of the more interesting affixes.

I only recently realized how much more immersive seeing players walking around is

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 07:39 AM PDT

I was in the Hall of the Guardian the other day and I saw this mage walking towards the Mission Board and I moused over, assuming it was some random NPC I hadn't noticed before, but it was actually a player. Until then I never really thought about it but a major reason players stand out from other NPCs in zones in the game is because we're always sprinting around or saddled up on a giant beast of our choosing. As a result this kind of immediately sets us apart from the world around us. Of course it's dumb to think anyone would ever walk around Dalaran because it's so slow but it's interesting to think what it'd look like.

here's what you had to do before fighting Onyxia, the first raid boss in vanilla. nowadays to do a raid you can just press a button and wait a few minutes and you'll get a group and get ported to the raid.
