The new queue has many questions being asked so here's a weekly megathread to help your question not get lost. You're more than welcome to continue to make threads with questions. Please try and help users by answering their questions!

Questions could have spoilers in them! BEWARE ALL THOSE WHO ENTER! Minor spoilers will be below about weapons, bosses, locations, etc. But someone might ask a question regarding a moment that has happened you have not experienced. So please know what you're entering.

TL;DR: Major locations/temples and major character names will be allowed in titles with the release of the game. Titles still must be vague and cannot divulge storylines. Boss names, dungeon weapons, plot points are not allowed in titles.

[BotW] Majora's Mask is too good

I can live with most of the dlc armor being outclassed by other armors in the game. They're relatively close to the plateau, so their place as un-upgradeable beginner equipment is kind of interesting.

I mean, in a perfect world, they'd each have unique effects. Or a patch would come out to change them to something more unique.

Majora's Mask, though, is just too damn good. It makes 6 other pieces of armor(the bokoblin mask, moblin mask, lizalfos mask and the radiant set) in the game pointless, in my opinion. Not only that, but it's the easiest to obtain of the dlc armor.

Before, it was neat that certain enemy types could break your cover. Chuchus, keese, pebblits and the like still can, but none of the "core" baddies can. I liked switching up my masks to keep myself in cover. Now, it's way too easy.

I dunno, if they wanted to keep the same effect on it, but move it into Kilton's inventory alongside the dark link set - I think I would be fine with that.

I know it's pointless to complain sometimes, I'm certain other people already have.

You can make Link ragdoll automatically! Works every time. (Breath of the Wild)

Hey guys, I just discovered you can make Link ragdoll automatically.

It was by pure accident I discovered this, but I'm having so much fun!

Requirements

  • At least one shield

  • An imagination

Optional requirements

  • A platform to fall from

  • A hill to slide down

How to do it

  • Equip a shield

  • Start shield surfing

  • At any point during your surf, hold left on the d-pad and unequip your shield

  • Link will ragdoll automatically rather than just landing on his feet

Tips

  • Use a shield with less friction. You can tell just by looking at each shield and the materials they're made from. A Shield of the Mind's Eye (smooth) will allow you to surf down hills faster than a Hylian (metal) shield.

  • You don't even need any momentum. You could be standing still (e.g. at the edge of a platform) and as long as you unequip your shield the second it hits the ground, Link will ragdoll without fail.

  • Try ragdolling off cliffs, into lakes, the possibilities are endless!

I have always loved ragdoll physics in games. I would purposely let enemies ragdoll me off mountains, but now I can make Link do it by himself! Give it a try, it's hilarious.

I've played a bunch of Zelda games, but have never played either of these (a sacrilege, I know). Should I stick with 3D titles like the ones that I've played (WW, MM, BOTW, etc)? Or should I try out 2d? I'll play both eventually, but which should I start with?

Do you think adults in the Zelda universe wish for their children to be blonde and white?

So the hero of hyrule is a pretty big deal as you are basically destined to save Hyrule. So do you think that years and years after a great calamity was defeated (Say about 10'000), do you think that Hylian parents wish for their child to be blonde and white so that is has a chance of being Link. Also how do their parents know to call him Link if they do not know he is the legendary hero reborn? And are they a little disappointed if they find out their child doesnt resemble links blonde hair and white skin?? And if your name is link and you are blonde, are you that really cool kid in school everyone likes?

Ok you guys.....I need an in depth play by play video how to beat these goddamn trials. I went and got the 30 minute art cal boosts and defense boost and STILL can't make it to the 10th trial. Now if there's 45 of these fucking things then I don't see how anyone has beaten them yet. I've been patient, tried to plan shit out. And I keep getting killed. And I'm really to a point where I'm about to break this goddamn WiiU. Please. There's gotta e a way to make this easier. I hate this raft trial so much. Just keep dying. An it wouldn't piss me off if I didn't have to start all the fucking way over everytime. Goddamit
