I think the 'hungry' status vanished for about 5 minutes, one more zucchini and I was stuffed. When I zoom in with my hunting scope it makes me lagging and working like shit, it also happens with PU scopes. When im not using any scopes it works smoothy and its playable, normally my fps are 60-100 (depends on location) while using scopes its 20-25fps any ideas? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 03 Jul 2017 03:20 PM PDT ha ha so, super new, got about a weeks play time into it, really diggin' the game, finally got enough gear to feel safe, in great health, and trying to be "friendly". So i made it out of Cherno and was heading north, it's about 1am IRL and was in the middle of nowhere, had just found the giant orange backpack and my first smg, left the shitty little villlage i found the stuff in (far removed from any big towns), as I'm about 4 minutes out, I stop, go to take a drink of water, the second i hit drink, I get two shotgun blasts to the back :) was pretty funny really but.. spent 2 days building up this character, staying out of the rain, etc. He must have been stalking me :) Just wondering if the "bandit" would be able to salvage my stuff, or just killed me for the sake of killing me? And I'm guessing most bandits won't take the time to verbally interact, not even to threaten me. I've actually met more friendly players than hostile, which is pretty cool. I've never played an MMO, and it's freakin' awesome, I can deal with the bugs (zombies hitting me while being 20 feet away, etc.) and I'm kind of happy that the stand-alone isnt as complicated (YET) as the videos Ive watched for the mod. Any advice, would be nice, such as hearing that I should not be walking around zombie filled villages with my weapon out? but how is this safe when everyone is KOS for the most part? Edit: sory... rambling post, but the stuff does get ruined/unusable in a backpack if you shoot it with a shotgun? [link] [comments]  | ||

I can't really see the realism with flares, unless chernarus issued flares to every single civilian... [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 03 Jul 2017 12:42 PM PDT So from what I can gather the map in game isn't working right now, and using izurvive really feels like cheating for my preferred PVE play style and I hate the break in immersion having to switch tabs or devices. I'm fairly new back to the game after a couple of years hiatus so I'm enjoying exploring the 'very different but very familiar' Chernarus. I was thinking it would be cool if the in game map persisted, I know you're supposed to be 'dead dead' when you die, but being able to annotate my own map long term is an idea I like, so now I'm thinking I'll just print one and literally mark the location of things as I find them; water/tents/deer stands etc. It'll still break immersion somewhat, but would be better than a map showing everything I could ever want. The only printables I've found so far don't have all the new northern cities on (where I spend most of my time) does anyone know of a recent one? Topographic preferably rather than satellite.
