[Skin Concept] Volcanic Anivia Posted: 28 Jul 2017 08:46 AM PDT Link Hey, lolreddit! Here's a skin concept for Anivia that I made. Fire always seemed like a no-brainer theme for the ol' bird (maybe a bit too obvious, I agree) and I thought I'd give it a go, twas a lot of fun! I also did my best to include more wip/ process shots since a good number of people seemed to be interested in my workflow. Anyway, thanks for looking! Hope you like this idea and if you have any feedback to share, feel free to drop it below, I'm always open to critique. Cheers~ Every few centuries, the molten goddess rises from her volcanic nest to bathe the world in her purifying fire. She blazes across the horizon, burning all without discrimination and leaving nothing but flaming wastes in her wake, before returning to the volcano to rest again, until the next purge. Some elders say the obsidian shards are animated by the spirit of an ancient princess, thrown into the volcano as a sacrifice and returned for vengeance against all that lives. Others believe her the instrument of an insane god, bent on punishing all mortals through fire and brimstone. The EU format needs to go, it´s not exciting at all Posted: 28 Jul 2017 02:00 AM PDT I really enjoy watching LoL Esports from time to time and I really like to check the standings of the Leagues I´m interested in. The leagues I am following are mostly EU, NA and LCK. One thing I noticed is that I couldn´t give less of a fuck about the EU standings. The standing is completely irrelevant. I allready knew 3 weeks ago which teams are going to qualify for playoffs and which playoff spot they are going to get. The only mildly interesting thing currently is, if H2K, UOL or Splyce get the bye, but that is litteraly the only interesting thing that is still getting decided since 3 weeks ago. Compared to that in LCK there are crazy shenanigans happening with LZ suddenly being first place and SKT struggling. It´s exciting. Every series counts and you want to know the outcome and check the standing every single day. In EU? Nope. I know who is going through. I can allready tell the playoff teams. I could tell you the playoff teams 3 weeks ago, I could tell you the teams at the start of the season. Imagine EU with it current standing in a normal League. G2 makes a miraculous run from one of the low places into second, holding up strong and surpassing UOL, H2K & Splyce once again. Monkeys having a shot at avoiding relegation by beating and overtaking Roccat. The battle for 2nd & 3rd/4th between G2, UOL, H2K and Splyce. Will anyone be able to take a game of G2 and bring them down away from a playoffs bye. Right now it´s just meh. Maybe I check in for one game of UOL H2K and see who get´s the bye, but all the other games are completely irrelevant and useless. I won´t even check the game results.
