| Anyone interested in a Halo game based in the time of prehistoric humanity? Posted: 27 Jul 2017 11:53 PM PDT At one time I would have thought this a terrible idea, but re-reading the Forerunner saga has changed my mind. I would love to play from the perspective of the first beings to engage the Flood. Perhaps as the elite fighting force of that time fighting to eradicate the Flood, while the majority of forces fight off the angry Forerunners. It could have a very Reach-like ending where you do all you can but defeat at the hands of two impossible enemies is inevitable. If this were to work though, I believe it would have to lose the Halo title and be a standalone game that is revealed to be a Halo game later on(think what the movie Prometheus is to the Alien franchise) or there may be backlash from people that don't follow the expanded Halo universe.
