For those that don't already know about "Find Player" feature 343i added to MCC back in 2015, you can use this to download Halo 3, Halo 4 and Halo 2: Anniversary maps/gametypes, as well as Halo CE and Halo 2 gametypes.

Hey r/Halo!

I was doing some digging earlier today about the release of the Halo Anniversary game for Xbox 360. I learned that back in 2011 when the game was releasing, Pizza Hut in the U.K. created a special pizza promoting the launch with two free days of Xbox Live included. The Halo-themed pizza was a regular pan with chicken, pepperoni, peppers, and onion. Unfortunately, there was nothing referencing Halo, and if it wasn't for the digital code, nothing promoting Xbox either.

In 2012, however, Pizza Hut in the U.K. stepped up again to provide another Halo-themed pie,: the Halo 4 Pizza. The second time proved to be the charm, with the restaurant offering Red Leicester cheese in place of the traditional stuffed crust cheese, thus making a Halo ring around the pizza! Orders of the limited-time-only crust came with a code for a red team Xbox LIVE avatar. From what I understand, Pizza Hut also ran a contest offering a console and goodies, free pizza, and the avatar as prizes. They even printed a special box to celebrate the launch of Halo 4.

Pizza has always been integral to my fight against the covenant; I'll have to try a chicken, pepperoni, peppers, and onion stuffed crust pizza for my next Halo night!

How much more support did this game receive after the free content updates ended?

I really liked Halo 5, but after Dark Souls 3 came out and took me away from it for a time, I never got back into it. I'm not too motivated to do so again, but I am curious how alive the game stayed and is now, because I think it is a strong foundation to build on for the next game and I want Halo to feel like this game felt.

i also hope they put the damn halo 3 rogue helmet in the next game

Just finished Halo 5... thoughts

I've played every Halo game on launch day and finished all of them on Legendary (except for Halo Wars 2). Big fan on the series but for whatever reason I just couldn't get into Halo 5. The controls were different, I couldn't stand Locke or the way the pasted his face onto his avatar. In any case, finally finished it, here's what I think fwiw:

  1. Game has better than I was expecting and definitely better than Halo 4. Mechanics were also better than my first impressions when I first played it last year. It's not up there with Halo1-3, but the best game since Halo 3:ODST. Better than Reach.

  2. Still can't stand Locke. Hope he's not a playable character in the next game.

  3. Don't like the co-op focused gameplay as much as the Master Chief line war game play... though that was only a thing in Halo 1-2 and ODST.

  4. I considered myself a lapsed Halo fan. Now I'm just a Halo fan ;)

I'll start off.

One of my favourite maps from Halo Reach is Sword Base. I have fun memories of jumping into a SWAT game and just camping with the team at the top of the elevator and picking off whoever came up it.

How to invite friends on MCC?

Whenever I invite a friend and they try to join me it doesn't work. I go into roster and press invite, they try accepting the invitation, pressing join, nothing works.

Edit: By the way, "give up" and "mcc is dead" comments are NOT HELPFUL.
