Frac Lvl 100 - MAMA Hardmode - Condi Warrior Solo 8:04 min Posted: 08 Jul 2017 12:53 PM PDT Hey guys, I played the Condi Warrior a little bit more and thoughtI'd give MAMA another try. My goal since the last kill was to do an 8min kill. I swapped the banner for On My Mark because the vulnerability uptime hadn't been too good before. Also I played alot more risky than I did before. Result was a kill after 8:04 min. Hope you enjoy greets Farbstoff [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Jul 2017 06:36 PM PDT I was wondering what would be a better class to level in general for both PvE and PvP. I'm mostly looking for which one has a better GS moveset, but I cant tell which one I enjoy more. I like Necromancer and Guardian from trying them out in PvP but how are their other weapons movesets? Im interested in dragonhunter specialization mostly for the LB. Is GS/LB Viable for Dragonhunter in either PvP or PvE? What weapons would be good for Reaper to use with GS? And whats the overall playstyle like? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2017 06:05 PM PDT Guys, I'm somewhat new to gw2 but a seasoned MMO player with 2 level 80's, a Necro/reaper and a boosted untouched Revenant. My younger brother is a seasoned player of GW2 and all he wants me to do is play absolute Meta builds, and I kind of don't want to. My reaper has full zerks gear with Superior Scholar runes, and my brother keeps telling me to look at the greatsword reaper build on Metabattle which I don't enjoy, I don't like the way the utility skill bar is. I don't really like having minions fighting with me either. Is it possible to still do well in PvE, Fractals, etc. Without playing absolute meta builds? Obviously as I get further down the track and things start to become difficult I may look into changing things, but I just don't want to have to play complete meta to play the game. Is Condi PS or Zerk Warrior More In Demand for Fractals and Raids? Posted: 08 Jul 2017 06:47 AM PDT I am going Condi PS right now but wanted to double-check which is more in demand for fractals and raids, or if it even matters. Don't have time or money to build two sets of ascended gear any time soon! [link] [comments]

Can Cairn be solo'd faster by a class that isn't Daredevil? Posted: 08 Jul 2017 04:47 AM PDT Hi, So I saw that Cairn had been solo'd by a DD in 57mins. The next best was by a druid in 4hrs, 20mins. My question is, is there a class that could technically beat that time? Or will DD always be the strongest soloer in this scenario, purely because of the amount of sustain/damage it can bring. edit: Lot's of great answers here, most of you are talking about how you need a ton of evades and blocks. What about these two videos by Goku SC. Thief has a better time at soloing Lupi than Ele, yet ele has a higher dps benchmark and higher might uptime during the fight. Why is the time slower? Is it because thief can react to mechanics without losing dps while Ele can't? Does that mean that Thief is the best speed soloing class in the game? [link] [comments]
Where can I find Descriptions of Class Roles in Structured PVP? Posted: 08 Jul 2017 05:45 PM PDT Is there already a resource for what the "meta" builds of current classes do? Like what spells to watch out for and how to avoid them? I really only know Elementalist. Elementalist: The meta for Elementalist in PVP is mainly Tempest healer. Watch out for Air Overload and Fire Overload, the two main forms of DPS. Other than that, Tempest does minimal damage, but provides excellent sustain + buffs for Elementalist himself and team. Ideally good to target first to gimp enemy team's healing. [link] [comments]
Struggling with a main decision - sorry for another one of these! Posted: 08 Jul 2017 05:38 PM PDT Sorry, I know how much people hate this type of post but ever since I returned to the game a few weeks ago I've really been struggling with choosing which class I was going to main. I know a common answer to this is why pick a main, just play multiple characters, but I don't have the time or the energy to play multiple characters at the same time. It burned me off of GW2 originally and wow when I was playing at the start of legion. I just want to figure out which class I'm going to play and experience all the content of the game with. First things first, I have every class to 80. I had gotten that back when I quit about a year after release and when I came back I boosted a rev since it was the only thing I didn't have max. The classes I'm really interested in are the warrior, Guardian and ranger. Im not a fan of the other classes - either I don't like their weapons, their class mechanics or their skills. My favorite weapons in the game are the Greatsword, the longbow,, sword with a shield or torch, pistols and axes. I'm not interested in really playing a very supportive play style (for example, druid healer) - I'm mainly focused on doing damage, either power burst or condition damage is fine with me. I don't mind supporting but I don't really want it to be my main focus. I'm looking to mostly do fractal and WvW content. I plan on dabbling with raids and sPvP but they're not usually my favorite type of content so my focus isn't really on them. I also enjoy good survivability and mobility for world bosses and open world content. Hopefully I've provided enough details and information so you guys can help me figure out what I should focus on. It's gotten so bad that I've gotten 100% world completion on all 3 trying to pick one. I appreciate your time reading and any helpful information and opinions you can provide me. Also, I apologize again for making another one of these posts xD [link] [comments]

Does sweetfx/gemfx work on Mac client? Posted: 08 Jul 2017 04:36 PM PDT My windows laptop is basically ancient but my iMac is not. Gonna give the 64x client a shot tonight, figured anything is better than running on lowest settings in windowed mode with an external fan. Lol. I'm curious if these work with the Mac OS client for GW2 (google results not recent/not clear). Thank you everyone in advance for your expertise! [link] [comments]
How useful are thiefs nowadays? Posted: 08 Jul 2017 02:43 PM PDT I know they have their spots in WvW/PvP but in Raids/Fractals how good are they? seems like everyone just wants some other dps class. Feelsbad because I wasted alot of time gearing my thief/getting to daredevil. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2017 02:38 PM PDT I'm newer to game and loving it so far as a warrior but after seeing both mesmer and thief gameplay in Wvw ( which I plan to do ALOT of) both seemed to appeal to me as much as warrior did. What class would you guys suggest learning pvp as? Which of these would do well in wvw as a roamer and in group? Do you have any tips while learning to pvp? [link] [comments]
