How Strong Would The BoS If They Annexed The Institute And Seized Their Technology?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 01:32 PM PDT

let's say the BoS eliminated or imprisoned most of the leaders and spare the scientists to work for them (sort of like what America did with Nazi Scientists).

we could have BoS Knights dropping in on a battlefield like ODST's from Halo via teleportation. alot of Soldiers can be replaced with BoS approved Coursers to do the Dirty Work for them to prevent Tech from getting into the wrong hands.

Scribes can teleport in areas to gather documents, Intel, tech, etc and teleport out.

with Institute Tech The Prydwen can be improved upon and they can construct more advanced Prydwens teleporting in the skies. what about a new and improved Teleporting Liberty Prime?

I think this should have been the real BoS Ending.

If this happened who can rival the BoS?

What locations do you hope to see in the series?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 11:33 AM PDT

Aside from the obvious New Orleans, what cities would you like to see at the center of a fallout game? With what we have been given (Boston, DC, Las Vegas) we can assume that the cities can't be too large and they all have some unique quirks.

Personally I would love to see Nashville. After all, Tennessee played a large role in the Manhattan project and creating the first nuclear device (in an incredibly messed up way). But it would be music city, quirky enough and has enough special locations. DLC or in game quests could take us to Chattanooga and then we could explore Oak Ridge (the city that houses the nuclear plant). Memphis would be another great DLC option. Maybe to get to these large major cities some wastelanders got trains up and running! (After all Chattanooga Choo Choo was a hit song in the 40s!)

Is fallout 4 worth the money?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 04:01 PM PDT

So i have about 30 bucks left over in my steam acount and I am wondering if I should buy fallout 4. I liked fallout 3(after i fixed the ctds), loved fallout nv and thought fallout 1 was okay(not to crazy about it). I have heard that fallout 4 is a bad game and I am concerned.

So, my question is: Should I buy fallout 4? If so, what dlcs should I buy with it. And lastly, any mods you guys would recomend

Mods for a first-time player of Fallout 4?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 02:55 PM PDT

What mods would you recommend to a first-time player of Fallout 4? I'm a huge fan of improving the vanilla experience but some of the F4 mods seem a bit daunting for someone who doesn't understand things like settlements and other game mechanics. Are there any mods that 'do what they say on the tin' and are essential?

Is there a definitive list of which U.S. regions and cities are CONFIRMED to be destroyed/ uninhabitable, and which regions and cities are CONFIRMED habitable/inhabited?

How could water have been used regarding settlements, factions, and/or enemies?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 12:27 PM PDT

Basically the title, for example could the Minutemen use the ocean for a navy of some sort?

Mod to make food grow without use of settlers?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 12:13 PM PDT

I'm going to try fallout 4's survival mode soon, although there's one thing I'd like to change before I start the game: I HATE settlers. It's bad enough that they cause me to build more protection-based stuff, which will be hard to have for me because I 100% of the time use turrets for the protection to go up, in survival mode it'll be even more annoying because I'll have to build low quality things in sanctuary because of not having the crafting materials. Settlers are the only way to get food growing because your character can't do anything to it himself/herself other than collecting it. Any mod/guide will be helpful! thanks :D

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 05:22 AM PDT

Piper has a knack for getting her ass handed to her by her super mutants and ive wasted many stimpaks on her becuase i can hear the beep beep beep of a suicider.

But she is immortal so whats the point?

Nick is bugged for me! help?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 03:59 PM PDT

So I was doing the minutemen ending and before I got to the end of the sewers I told Nick to go home then I carried on. After the ending he wasn't at any of my settlements or his home. Keep in mind this is a non modded save. So I got the follower tracker mod and made a new save of the same guy so I could go to where he was on vanilla and it says he was in the sewers but it won't let me go in, Help???

Fallout 4 Faction Survey

Posted: 13 Jul 2017 10:35 PM PDT

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeJsLyuZDJ63dZ1-nLkZEQa0DpQAfStGntwOzj7LGx-UHlQAg/viewform?usp=sf_link

I put together a survey on faction choices after reading a post by DankMemes4Dayz on how many people joined The Railroad. I like facts and numbers so I thought it would be nice to get some data. If this survey gets a big enough sample size I'll make some graphs of the data.

Gameplay Idea: Momentarily play as the companion.

Posted: 13 Jul 2017 10:29 PM PDT

What do you think of the idea to momentarily experience certain events through eyes of a companion?

It could used as a flashback or in a companion quest finale.

Fellow Fallout fans--

I co-host a gaming podcast where we've recently done a deep-dive into the story of Fallout. As you know, the story is absolutely massive and there's no way we could cover it all. But we did our best to capture the major moments before and after the Great War.

You can listen directly by clicking the link below. Would love to know your thoughts after listening. *What's one of your favorite story lines in the Fallout universe? *
