Iam not even talking about the people that join with low paragons in Tier XI maps that they are clearly not able to farm efficiently. Iam talking about the 1-2 ppl you get every new game that just sit in town and wait for you to do it for them.

And the worst part is you cant even kick them half of the time for what ever reason and if you kick them you punnish yourself because as soon as 1 act is already done new ppl cannot join.

There needs to be some harsh penalties because thats just rude af.

All 1000 of the Necromancers on the NA Leader boards are using the same build.

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 03:50 AM PDT

Is there any chance Blizz doe's something before S11?

Necro has one viable build and several clunkier farming builds. I love this game and have had a lot of fun with nearly every class but Necro is such a mess right now.

Edit- Wanted to make an edit so I can shed some light on my feelings about this. What I originally meant to convey with this post is the lack of builds that are even fun. I know I probably should have included this in the first place but I can see how me posting about leaderboards gets people to respond about builds that are good enough to go 85+ in GRs.

The problem I'm really seeing is that everyone is using this exact build for everything. T10-T13 farming + pushing high GRs. Other builds feel clunky and require quite a bit of micro to even use.

Also not all 1000. There is about 4 people with a different build. Posted the link below for people to try.

Mehtan the necromancer is a spirit now?

I saw this while doing bounties

Maybe I missed it in the patch notes but is there a lore reason to why he has become a spirit?

Decrepify: Borrowed Time instead of Dizzying Curse (Bone Storm)

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 03:06 PM PDT

I wonder if Decrepify: Borrowed Time would be better.

Sure, that stun in Dizzying Curse can triple the Krysbin's bonus, but it's only got a 10% chance. You are always going to get double damage bonus to most mobs. Borrowed Time will let you get 100% guaranteed stuns off of Bone Armor and do it more often on top of it. It also knocks down cooldowns for Land of the Dead.

Wouldn't that make more sense?

I might be way off here but thought I would ask.

Dayntee's Binding makes Decrepify too good.

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 05:23 PM PDT

It makes the other two curses almost irrelevant. Blizzard should change it so that any of your curses work to proc the damage reduction. Alternatively, Blizzard could just add other legendaries for each of the other curses that are slightly different if they are worried about the "flavor" of the skill. Something like:

"Trag'Ouls Wellspring" - legendary belt - Leech gains the effect of the Blood Flask rune and you take 50-60% less damage for 10-15 seconds after using your potion.

Or:

"Bitter Cords" - legendary belt - Whenever an enemy cursed by your Frailty dies, take 50-60% reduced damage for 10-15 seconds.

Necromancer Blood Rush bug w/ armoury

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 12:02 PM PDT

I posted it onto the forums but I'm not sure if it's okay to post here too. Sorry in advanced.

I was changing my sets and I jumped straight into a greater rift, my blood rush charges were not there it was stick on 0 (Trag'oul's set) and I didn't know how it happened, I did some testing and I figured out the bug.

The armoury lets you change skills even if blood rush needs charges or is on cooldown causing a weird interaction with charged ones (at least what I found out)

Here is a quick gif showing you the bug and the image from my Greater Rift

2 extra stash tabs with deluxe reaper of souls

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 02:17 PM PDT

Sorry for the noob question. However in the in-game shop it states that you get 2 stash tabs with the purchase of reaper of souls.

However I own RoS and I don't see the extra stash tabs yet. Do you get them after completing act V or am I just interpreting this wrongly?

Adventure mode didn't unlock?

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 05:38 PM PDT

I just completed the campaign for the first time on my demon hunter. I lost connection while talking to tyrael, was booted out, figured "okay maybe it saved progress", I was wrong. So I went back and killed Malthael again, had the end cutscene and credits play, and still, adventure mode was not unlocked. What should I do, play through the whole campaign again?

Fastest T13 build after season 10?

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 05:21 PM PDT

A friend and I were discussing speedfarming builds and I thought that LTK Monk has to be the fastest due to the high-frequency teleports. With my LoN LTK monk, I clear Lvl 60 Grifts in on average 1:45 while frequently getting times under 1:30.

My friend said that archon mage might beat it, he averages at about 2:20 but the rolls on his build are quite a bit worse than on my LoN build.

Anyone here who's experienced with both willing to give their opinion on the topic?

Life Regen Necromancer Build (yes, it does kind of work)

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 01:48 PM PDT

Yes, maybe I am high but just listen to this... My friend came up with this build. Wouldn't say its too viable fun hear me out: You get all the life regen from: paragon - 11k leech skill + osmosis rune - 15k bone armor skill + thy flesh sustained - 150% (15 stacks with the necklace) draw life passive - 100% increase (if 10 enemies are nearby) if you get life regen on every equipped item - 12 items = ~84k molten wildebeasts gizzard gem - 80k (at rank 70) boots of disregard - 40k (if standing still for 4 seconds) rogars huge stone - up to 100%

Now you're probably like: Well, where does the damage come from? Inarius set and... Death's bargain! Yes, Death's bargain! It gives you an aura that deals 1000% of your life regen per second as damage which also gets increased by the inarius 6P.

I tried a low budget version of this build and I did a T10 rift. Not going to lie, all the damage was coming from bone armor and the scythe, but still... it was something different! I think stuff like this is always fun and me and my friend had a blast thinking of this build and writing the stats down! I really dont think any of you will ever try this build out (gods why would you) but I really hope this was interesting enough to read :D

Advice on improving my DH multishot build?

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 02:40 PM PDT

https://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Faellin-1448/hero/73386250

I can effectively push T9 grifts in under 5 minutes, and want to aim higher. Any advice on how I can improve the build to push for higher levels?

I'm just stuck at a roadblock it seems. I can pretty much faceroll T9 grifts with the build yet no matter how I improve my setup I can't seem to push any higher effectively. Last time I tried to push T10 it was a disaster. I also need proper bonuses for the cube, which I just can't seem to find any good ones.

Revive feels extremely useless

Posted: 01 Jul 2017 11:49 PM PDT

Every rune on it seems a bit bad. Especially the one where it lowers duration to 12 seconds and only does 20% more damage. That MIGHT be enough time for one of the monsters to pull off like... one auto attack. I revived a bunch of monsters testing a rift build and they walk so damn slow I think at MOST they pull off is 1-2 attacks before dying to duration. And that's WITH the extended talent boost.

Anyone else feel revive, which was one of the iconic necro abilities in D2, is extremely garbage?

Legendary Potions not saved/automatically unequipped when using Armory

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 02:43 PM PDT

I see there was a post about this 3 months ago, but that post is old and stated it was console-specific. As implied in the post title, swapping specs with the Armory will a) not save your legendary potion as part of your spec and b) automatically unequip the legendary potion you have equipped before you swap out. I don't remember if this behavior happened prior to 2.6 for PC, but it is currently an issue!

Is this a known issue?

Nevermind - it seems like old sets I'd saved to Armory in older patches didn't associate with a potion, but now the sets do. If you have sets in Armory from before 2.6.0, make sure you equip them, equip your potion, and re-save so the potion is bound to them too.

Ultimate SKELETON CREW achievement Guide

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 05:09 AM PDT

This achievement is a little bit tricky, you must know a few things before even try do this:

  • NEVER use Frailty (elites die at 15% of their hp and you dont get any credit for skeletons kill)
  • NEVER use any offensive gems like Mirinae
  • Use this 3 gems: Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Powerful and Boon of the Hoarder
  • DONT use ANY other offensive skill than Command Skeletons
  • Use Devour - Devouring Aura (you never lost Essence)
  • Use Nemesis braces (obviously)
  • Try not use any thorns damage on gear
  • Dont use your follower, important because his killing blow on elite
  • Use Jasseth Arms weapon+shield set - its make this achievement much easier and quicker
  • Run only T1 regular rifts
  • Remember skill MUST be ACTIVE to achievement count!

Just SPAM the hell out of Command Skeletons entire T1 rifts (after Guardian also) and you get achievement in 2-3 hrs depends on elite density.

GOOD LUCK NEPHALEMS!

[HELP] Strange stutter

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 08:13 PM PDT

Hello, /r/diablo.

First of all, sorry for any grammar issues. English is not my first language.

I'm here to ask for help. I came back to play this week and there's a type of fps drop really annoying me. I play on a notebook that can run the game at 45 - 60fps easily. But sometimes, my screen freezes for the fraction of a second and then the actions that happened during the freeze plays like "fast foward". I don't know what the hell is causing this. I've tried everything I could find on the internet but nothing seems to help.

I don't know if it's graphics lag because the game runs really smooth besides those small moments. Also, this sometimes happens when I'm standing in city too, so idk. Can anyone help? :(

Edit: typo.

35 hours played and not a single non-set 1 handed scythe drop yet

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 07:42 PM PDT

So as the title says, I have 35 hours played (On Necromancer) and I have yet to receive a single one-handed scythe that isn't "Jesseth's" or whatever it's called.

I seriously feel like all I get is just... maces, swords, spears etc. I know it's just RNG but there's way too many swords/maces/whatever right now. It's actually insane. 75% of my drops are weapons that I can't use.

35 hours.. and barely any scythes have dropped. Even two handed scythes are very very rare.

For example. I was just doing the vault, and I got a total of three legendaries. A two handed mace, a two handed sword, and a chest.

Reworking the Pestilence Set

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 07:42 PM PDT

As anyone who's played Pestilence knows it has the most issues out of any of the sets. It's unfortunate since I was looking forward to this one as well as Rathma for pet build.

What's worse is that it doesn't fit it's own theme which seems to be a plague and bone necromancer since the set looks like a plague doctor from the Black Death.

I've come up with a rework that fixes the issues (I hope) and gives Pestilence the theme it's going for, which is synergizes with Nayr's Black Death: aka Black Plague.

Pestilence Master's Shroud (2) Set Bonus Each corpse you consume fires a Corpse Lance at a nearby enemy. Corpse Lance gains the Shredding Splinters rune. (4) Set Bonus Each enemy you hit with Bone Spikes, Bone Spear, Bone Spirit, Corpse Explosion or Corpse Lance reduces your damage taken by 5% up to a maximum of 50%. Lasts 20 seconds. (6) Set Bonus All abilities deal poison damage and curse targets hit with the Weakness curse for 30 seconds. Enemies under the effect of the Weakness curse take 3000% increased damage from Bone Spikes, Bone Spear, Bone Spirit, Corpse Explosion or Corpse Lance. Cursed enemies are plagued and take 100% damage over 10 seconds while emitting a 15 yard cloud of poison that deals 500% damage over 10 seconds. When you consume a corpse reduce the cooldown of Bone Spirit by 3 seconds.

I still think Bone Spirit needs reevaluating but if it's kept as is the extra cooldown should help if people want to use it. It really just needs some area damage, faster speed, auto-locks nearby enemies if nothing is specifically clicked on and the pathing bugs need fixing.

I still think Bone Spirit needs should use essence and not charges but if it's kept as is the extra cooldown should help if people want to use it. It really just needs some area damage, faster speed, auto-locks nearby enemies if nothing is specifically clicked on and the pathing bugs need fixing.

Also a ranged necromancer should have Bone Wall as an option but that might not happen for while since they are busy fixing what they've already released. Hopefully we get it soon.

What would be the optimal next step?

Posted: 02 Jul 2017 02:52 PM PDT

Hi,

I'm fairly new at D3, started on the last season and wish to know: what is considered the most optimal way to progress through my character?

About my character:

  • DH Shadow's Impale build
  • I have 2 Ancient set pieces and also Ancient weapon and offhand
  • My main gems are Lv35-40
  • I can push easily GR60~
  • Already have all BiS cubed items

So with that said: should I just keep doing Rifts and following up with Grifts until I eventually get all ancients with the best rolls? Should I be focusing on anything in particular? There is any particular best way to obtain ancient/primal set gear, like gambling with Kadala or upgrading items on cube?

Thanks in advance for any tips
