Experimental server didn't restart?

Yesterday I was playing on an experimental server when it said "Server restarting in 5 minutes". Then it said "Server restarting in 60 seconds". I lied down and waited more than 5 minutes but nothing happened.

What was this? Do exp servers not restart currently or it was just some kind of a glitch?

Im just getting back in to dayz other than every server being low pop it's pretty fun. Except I keep dying because there is nothing but the occasional kiwi to eat. How tf am I saposed to play a survival game where I can't even eat to stay alive? Tf guys!

When a server restarts...

Just getting back into DayZ after being away since .48, and had a question about server restarts-

I currently have a camp not too far from a pretty remote small town, and every so often, I go in to this town to scavenge for food and supplies but I've noticed a few times that houses in certain parts of the town will have all their doors closed - does server restarts have anything to do with doors spawning opened or closed, or are they all pretty persistent these days? I know on my big tent, the windows and doors are all open when the server restarts, but was unsure about houses - I even heard a zed trapped in a house behind one the closed doors, but the next day, the door was open so I assume he escaped!

I've been playing a low pop public server exclusively, and this place is so remote, and not on the way to anything at all, seems strange a player would come through and then close all the doors behind them on like 7-8 houses - unless they wanted to see if anything was disturbed, that is.

Anyways, just something I've been pondering through the last couple days, and figured you guys might know. I'm actually having a lot of fun with the recent developments, it's a vastly different game than what I put so many hours into a few years ago.

Reporting a server to the devs?

So I was watching a stream of a server owner and he opened the DART Rcon tool while streaming, and giving out the players IP's, GUID's and their in game names. I've reported it to the server host they run on, but I've heard they do nothing so I was wondering how can I report this to the dayz dev team aswell?

UPDATE: I've sent a message to both the devs, and the GSP. I'll try and keep this updated if anything is done. Since its the weekend I bet nothing will happen till at least Monday.

UPDATE 2: The GSP contacted me back, and said to go to twitch about it. I'm pretty sure the rep contacting me back is delusional as well, because he was talking about stuff that I didn't even say soo, I guess the final hops in the devs if they would even be able to do something.

I own the Arma 2 Dayz mod and it is a pretty enjoyable game. Though I do wish things were a little better. I don't have the money for standalone anyway so let's get to the point. My friend claims epoch is a better version of DayZ. So I want to know whether i should get it or not. What are the differences?

ok so I'm starting to get a little pissed off at my computer I have had Day-z for years and never had a problem out of it and now... I cant play for 5min at most without it freezing.. It will not even load my character on the main screen.. I don't understand how my computer cant support it all of a sudden..

I have: GeForce GTX 760 graphics card.. AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor.. 16 GB of ram..

I exceed the minimal requirements I believe. Any suggestions? It would be nice to get to play again. Thanks.

I want a mod like Foxhole

Great game and the social part of it is feels similar to dayz. I think a lot of the systems would be pretty easy to create in Dayz. Till beta if I'm not playing Dayz I'll be playing Foxhole.
