Name bots after major winners.

Posted: 28 Jul 2017 10:52 AM PDT

I just thought about this. I think it would be cool if the bots in cs:go was named after the previous major winner. This would solidify their accomplishment within the game itself. And it doesn't seem too me that all the current names are there for a specific reason

Do you think this would be a cool idea? Discuss in the s below.

We're an ESEA-IM team sponsored by Cyber Revolution here to film lan footage and surprise ourselves. So far all were doing is getting scummed. This is our 2nd lan together, we placed 4th at topfraggers in buffalo in May.

Please help spread the word, pm me if you can help or play!

Does the CZ-75 still need to be adjusted?

Posted: 28 Jul 2017 06:59 AM PDT

I think we can all agree that the CZ is in a good place right now, in terms of it's stats. It has a niche role that its stats do very well to compliment. It's damage, accuracy, etc don't need to be changed.

What do need to be addressed are the abysmal kill reward and deploy time.

It's a little ridiculous that a kill with the CZ only gives $100, given how situational the gun is. It's not as versatile and much harder to use than something like a 5-7, so why does it only give 1/3 of the kill reward? I think simply Valve neglected to change it with the last round of nerfs to the gun.

Now, while I've seen a few posts about the CZ's kill reward, the deploy time is something that not many people talk about, which I think also something that needs to be addressed. The CZ's deploy time is a whopping 1.83 seconds, making it the longest deploy time in the game, even slower than the AWP. There's really no need for the deploy time to be so long; it only punishes players for using it, and doesn't encourage using the gun for it's intended purpose. Again, I think this is just a holdover from when it was super OP and Valve nerfed it in every possible way.

Some people think that reload speed also needs to be adjusted, but I don't think it's as much a glaring issue. The CZ is a situational gun and therefore should punish players for using it outside it's intended purpose.

Reverting the deploy time to the old value and increasing the kill reward to be the same as the other pistols would be two (relatively) simple changes that would be a "buff" in the traditional sense, but instead of ending in a net positive, would simply bring this pistol back up to par.
