Alteration Werewolf is my new favorite character build.

It's great because all of the perks in the Alteration tree are helpful for werewolves, when combined with protection spells (Oakflesh, Stoneflesh, Ironflesh, Ebonyflesh) and mage robes. You can cast one of those spells (or dual cast) and then go werewolf and get huge physical damage resistance for while dealing a lot of damage. You also get some magic resistance from the Magic Resistance and Atronach perks.

3 days, then vacation is over. Should I dive into Skyrim for the 1st time?

Picked up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim a while back and it's been on my "must-play" list for years. 72 hours. In my boxers. Caffeine, doritos, stimulants, and battery packs ready.

Should I dive in? Will I even scratch the surface in three days before I return to work on Friday? REDDITORS: Make me commit!

Note: I've gotten past initial cinematic, but one of the things I'm worried about is how clunky the UI/Menus and key bindings feel on console vs. how I'm sure they felt on PC. Do you get used to it or is it cumbersome the whole time? Any advice on keybindings that make the experience less... "clunky" on XB1? I no longer have a gaming PC.

So I resurrected Ulfric and was taken by surprise.

I was sick of seeing Ulfric's corpse lying in the Palace of the kings and decided to just try to resurrect him using the console. To my surprise a resurrected Ulffric after you've won the civil war on the side of the Imperial legion believes that he has won the civil war and talks to you about the ceremony of his ascension as the High King of Skyrim and his further plans to keep the elves in check.

It's kind of sad to see him go on talking about it.

So i lost Lydia at Valtheim Towers but she was never moved to the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun? It's been several weeks now so hoping it'll happen soon. I threw her body in the river as a send off then realized she had my things....... Does anyone know why it wouldn't have happened? Or how long it will take?

On a related note, where would Faendal go after death?

I thought imperials and storm cloaks couldn't be near each other, but in the beginning they are?

I hear during the beheading a storm cloak say "you imperial bastards" and they're a soldier! Then an imperial says death to the storm cloaks! They're both soldiers but opposite teams? I thought the empire was imperials. And if the ulfric and that guy who first speaks to you are storm cloaks what's that other guy?

And if the empire was lazy before, what happened? What did the storm cloaks do?

I'm trying to understand the story but this part doesn't help.

And what border are we supposedly trying to cross? Do they think we're storm cloaks?

The seventh Black Book, Filament and Filagree. I've never been able to find it! Finally just googled it and am PLEASED.

Seriously, this game will be my favorite until TES VI
