Why is nothing being done about the Mac Client clusterfuck? Posted: 21 May 2017 02:03 AM PDT It's been 3 entire days, with no official word from Riot on what's happening. Since patch 7.10 rolled out, a stupendous amount of mac players (myself included) have been unable to play the game. I'll tell you my story. First I click on the app for Lol. That opens like normal. It applies the patch and then I click the big orange LAUNCH button. After that... nothing. I sat there and waited for an hour. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I uninstalled league, re-downloaded it, ran a repair from the help options for good measure. Waited. Then once it was ready, clicked the big glowing orange LAUNCH button again annnnnnddd... nothing. Again. At that point I was highly confused, so I restarted my computer, did the whole procedure (uninstall, install etc) and waited till it was ready. I click launch one more time and wait, praying that it's fixed itself, but lo and behold literally nothing fucking happens. I checked the Activity Monitor during the process and there's no sign of any lol stuff going on. It just does fuck all. Basically, the game wont run. It won't open, nada, zip, nothing. I thought I was going insane, so I head over to the Help and Support Board to find hundreds of other Mac players crying out about the exact same issue im having. Security has become an issue now with a random person being able to get that close to players. Posted: 21 May 2017 03:01 PM PDT Someone shouldn't have been able to get to the players. Funny or not that's completely unacceptable. What happens when it's someone who isn't happy and decides to rage out on them. Booths, while are primarily for sound dampening, also add security. Had there been a booth with ONE bouncer at the door checking for badges this wouldn't have happened. Rammus rework looked so good on paper...but feels so bad in play. Posted: 20 May 2017 11:24 PM PDT If you can make it to late game with new Rammus you can be devastating...because then you have max CDR and all the tank items you can need to make up for all the early game flaws his new kit has. Typical early game now: Roll into bot lane. Draven hits you with his Stand Aside...oh ok...no more rolling. That's okay I can still flash onto him and taunt! Then I turn on my W and haha! I'm taking little damage and putting a little bit out...oh wait...the taunt wore off...now Draven is just casually walking away and there is nothing I can do because my W is slowing me by 60 percent...why has my own defenses betrayed me? The enemy team doesn't even need to CC me when I'm casting this massive 6 second slow on myself! I will just turn it off! Consistently expected to take the whole tournament from the very start, Caitlyn is not only knocked out, but dominated by Jarvan IV, not even managing to pick up a single point. Galio against Kog'Maw was a lot closer; and bloodier; with the series both going to Silver Scrapes, and with all five ending in a first blood In the game of marksmen versus fighters, fighters have taken it 2-0.
