Announcements Reddit Overwatch Championship #2 [UPDATED] In cooperation with GosuGamers and RFLAN, we are pleased to announce the second Reddit Overwatch Championship. Please visit this updated thread here for more information. The SR restriction has been removed for this tournament. Signups are still open for the NA and EU tournament here. Signups are still open for the OCE tournament here. The NA tournament will run April 29th (12 PM PDT), the EU tournament will run April 30th (12:00 CEST), and the OCE tournament will run April 29th (12:00 PM AEST). Stream and caster information will be announced at a later date. Professional Play OGN APEX Season 3 APEX returns for Season 3 with 16 invited and qualifying teams from KR and NA for a combined ₩200,000,000 KRW ($178,000 USD) prize pool. WarpMeta Open Finals Come watch the top 4 teams play for the $500 prize pool. Begins April 29th 11 AM PDT. Matches will be streamed at WarpMetagg. r/OverwatchUniversity League Season 2 Signups are closed, but selected matches will be streamed at owuniversity. The regular season will run April 29th - June 16th, and playoffs will run July 1st and 8th. Local Events Overwatch Chicago League (Season 2) Local Chicago-area event held at the Ignite Gaming Lounge. 4 teams compete over 4 weeks for a cash prize. Matches run every Thursday at 7 CST continuing on April 27th, and will be streamed at overwatchchicago. Signups Overwatch Scrub Cup The Scrub Cup is a tournament for players 2500 SR and below wanting to experience a tournament with players at their skill level. Heroes of the Storm 'Nexus Challenge' Information & LFG Thread Posted: 25 Apr 2017 02:00 PM PDT The Nexus Challenge has returned to Heroes of the Storm, bringing with it a multitude of new rewards for both HOTS and Overwatch, including the return of the much desired Oni Genji skin as well as the addition of the brand new Officer D.Va Legendary. To unlock the rewards, all you need to do is play 5 games with a friend across each of the 4 weeks, unlocking different rewards each week. Posted: 25 Apr 2017 07:37 AM PDT ...it's because she needs a ride to the objective! im tired of seeing a friendly outline juuuuuuust out of reach around the next corner as im trying to run back to the fight. i end up hoofing it the whole way, when all that teammate had to do was turn around for 2 seconds and let me fly to them. in other words, be cognizant of where you are in relation to your healer. let us fly to you. we want to help you. we want to heal you. stop running away. That way teams can see Symmetra traps, Torb turrets, even the TP/Shield Generators. McCree's Passive Posted: 25 Apr 2017 11:41 AM PDT I had a good idea for a new passive for McCree as he is considered the most underpowered offensive character in the game. The passive would be named 'bounty' and be fairly similar to Sombra's passive as he is able to see enemies through walls, but only enemies who are on fire. I figured McCree's kit is like he has the ability to take all kind of heroes fairly weakly, meaning if anyone on the enemy team is doing particularly good, he can prioritize them (ex. Enemy pharah became a big nuisance to your team, her being on fire will make it easier to line up shots and in turn more benefiting your team.) Winston to Sombra: "Get away from my computers." Posted: 25 Apr 2017 06:59 AM PDT Heard this last night. Was on attack on Gibraltar. Was playing Winston. Killed a Sombra while in the room with all the computers and big health pack at the very beginning. Thought it was interesting. Never had heard it before. Don't know if its unique to Winston v.
