For Orisa, it seems pretty clear who her punch kid should be. I can't get enough of that shell shocked yet encouraging "What the fuck just happened" face, and in Efi's it also conveys the creeping guilt of watching your creation take a persons life. For other characters, soldier might get the mexican girl he saves, ana could get young pharah, rienhardt could maybe get Brigitte, torb a animated spray switching between his many torblets. there's lots of options here, all of them good. | Suggestions to fix the problems with the new PTR Lúcio changes (With visualizations) Posted: 01 Apr 2017 11:44 AM PDT I made some visual diagrams to illustrate the problems with the new Lúcio rework
Summary:
Problem: The aura range nerf from a 30m radius to a measly 10m radius is extreme and reduces Lúcio's healing sphere volume by over 96%. Lúcio's new movement buffs allow slightly more freedom, however this is directly contradicted by the fact he has to be directly in the center of a tightly packed team in order to be actually useful. He's a character with so much mobility and freedom, but is forced into being a heal-bot since his range has been reduced to less than mercy's beam.
Extend the range of the aura to 20m, but have it fade from 100% to 0% from 10m to 20m. This solves the problem of people getting left behind on speed pushes, and allows Lúcio to heal flankers slightly while maintaining the need to position himself to do any serious healing. Alternatively, extend the aura range (by 1.5x - 2x) while on amp it up allowing Lúcio temporary extended range.
Problem: The jump boost after jumping off a wall makes tighter jumps such as corner climbing more frustrating to execute.
Change it so the jump boost is only active when on speed aura. That way players can choose whether they need the tight controlled jumps or the long fast jumps.
Problem: No indication of how many people are within range of Sound Barrier (Lúcio's ultimate).
Solution: If the aura range is extended to 20m then the aura influence number will match the number of people who will get sound barrier (how it currently is live). Alternatively have a number next to the ultimate meter that indicates the number of people within range.
