Gorgeous. And who didn't know there's a space station in the skybox? Totally missed it since the Beta.) When I see a buddy's Telegram/Skype name in the HUD. thefriendyouknow is near. I do not have this guy on my friends list. Didn't even know he played on my console. I text him. "Dude, were you just patrolling the moon in Destiny?" He says "lol yep." How impossible is that? A friend I know is in the same social space doing the same activity, on the same server. Fantastic. TL;DR: found out my friend plays Destiny when he drove past me on a Patrol. Posted: 29 Jan 2017 06:23 AM PST Ok I know it's a bit of a shitpost, but for therapy's sake: About a year ago, I decided to dismantle my Y1 workhorse, a Badger CCL that rolled with LitC, Explosive Rounds, AND Firefly. I regret that daily since it can't roll like that when it was brought back. When people get excited about Badger drops now, I die a little bit more inside haha. Posted: 29 Jan 2017 04:25 PM PST For those who don't know the Old Guard are technically those who played in year 1 and received a Tiger Shader, Tiger Emblem, Ghost Shell, and Sparrow. The Space tiger came from some Concept Art of a Guardian with a lynx, which was instantly known as the space tiger. I think an awesome way to reward those players who have been here since the beginning (Requirements being already be an Old Guard member while also owning and playing expansions.) would be to have a unique Space tiger (Lynx). Started in on a sunsinger so its currently solar, however whenever I change subclasses it stays solar. Am I missing something, or is it broken? | Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:56 AM PST It started on Friday, and I got a group together on LFG to do some Trials. It was... rough to say the least, we'd win one, lose one, win one, lose one. Then I got matched against a streamer group, and I wasn't very confident. We managed to edge out 3 rounds, but lost 5-3. I decided I was done for the day, and went to play other games. Then, about 1AM, I was playing some GTA V before bed, and the streamer messaged me. He wanted to say GG, and he thanked me for not teabagging after we won rounds against him. We talked for a bit, he followed me on Twitch bringing me up to 6 followers, and I followed him, who was already almost at 1300. Then yesterday, I went to his stream to raffle for a run, and sure enough, I won a run. We went flawless with our mercy intact, and I received a Burning Eye Adept, and with my arms, now my Titan has wings. And the coolest thing was this, the mods that I had played against on Friday were really happy to see my name in chat. They instantly made me feel like I was among friends, and they cheered me all the way to my flawless. No real moral to this story, just thought I'd post a truly awesome experience I had. Posted: 29 Jan 2017 06:03 AM PST Whenever i play Destiny i find myself sticking to using the same handful of Exotic Armor pieces. Mainly because items like the Armamentarium, Bones Of Eao, and Ophidian Aspect are so good. So i had a few thoughts on improvements that could be made to some Exotic Armor. Some i have not altered at all, others i have just altered slightly. My goal was to make each Exotic feel either really strong, unique, and hopefully lead to interesting gameplay possibilities. The changes i made are in bold. Hunter Exotic Armor ATS/8 ARACHNID - Your Golden Gun zooms in for accuracy when aimed, and grants Over the Horizon. ATS/8 Tarantella - Take reduced Elemental damage from minions of the Darkness; Grenades and Super recharge faster. Achlyophage Symbiote - Unchanged. Bones of Eao - Unchanged. Celestial Nighthawk - Unchanged. Crest of Alpha Lupi - Revive fallen teammates and be revived faster. Supers generate 2 extra Orbs. Don't Touch Me - Taking damage from a melee attack makes you briefly invisible, grants Shadowjack for Bladedancer. Fr0st-EE5 - Unchanged. Graviton Forfeit - Unchanged. Khepri's Sting - Gain invisibility after crouching in place for a short time. Melee attacking an enemy while invisible delivers 2x damage. (Removed the DoT) Knucklehead Radar - Unchanged. Lucky Raspberry - Unchanged. Mask of the Third Man - Unchanged. Radiant Dance Machines - You move more quickly while aiming your weapon. Grants Fleet Footed for all subclasses.
