What if nano boosted supports healed more ?

We all know this scenario : 200 hours as Ana, have a nanoboost accuracy of about 12%. Supports seem to have a steroid magnet.

All damage is amplified during nano boost and that means abilities too, so why would S:76 one shot a 200hp hero with an helix rocket but Lucio's amp it up does nothing more ? Same goes for zen's discord / Harmony orbs.

It could add some strategic diversity and make ulting a support less inconvenient although often sub optimal, it would mainly promote the idea of using nanoboost defensively rather than mostly aggresively

Sombra: The Slowest Hero in the Game

Fair warning: This is a bit of a rant.

So, earlier this week in the developer update, Jeff Kaplan told us all that Sombra is probably an ok hero, that just needs to be played more often in order to find a place in the meta. So, I decided to take him at his word and give her a shot.

My strategy was to get behind enemy lines and harass. Use the passive to get easy pick offs, and make sure to have a safe location to teleport to at all times. With this strategy I was fairly effective at being a thorn in the enemy's side at all times, similar to tracer.

After a few games like this, I found some issues with her kit that were immediately apparent, and they all boil down to one thing. Sombra is just too slow to keep up.

I'm not talking about in actual speed. As far as movement, she is one of the quicker heroes in the game but one of the glories of Overwatch is how fast paced it is. The ability to quickly act and help out your team is one of the core principles of this game. However, Sombra's abilities and cooldowns just take way longer than I think they should.

Invisibility: What a waste of potential. Never have I seen a stealth mechanic more poorly worked than hers. It takes about a second to go invisible, which makes it worthless as an escape mechanic because if you take any damage at all while you are invisible or during this transition period, you will be bent over and butt fucked before you can say "boop." Oh, and lets not forget that you can't hack while invisible, so get those ideas out of your head right away. The best part, you are completely useless for about a second and a half when you come out of invisibility, oh and you also shout out to your enemies a nice little mlg airhorn voice line, that indicates to everyone in the vicinity "Hey guys, I'm a free elimination!"

Translocater: This is, in all honesty, probably her best ability. The cooldown is a bit longer than I would like, but I really can't complain about a get out of jail free card. Just be aware that Soldier is probably camping it and will murder you after you use it.

Hacking: Hacking is supposed to be Sombra's bread and butter. The ability to shut down a Rein's shield and allow your team to finally break through that damn choke point is what is supposed to make Sombra so very good. When she was first released, I fully expected her to change the meta because of this ability. However, the skill just takes too long to cast. 1.2 seconds doesn't seem like a lot of time, but when the enemy roadhog can throw a hook in .2 seconds, you find yourself completely useless. All of this is without mentioning that if you get hit by anything at all, it cancels, and you have to restart. The only thing worthwhile about this skill is that you can hack health packs.

EMP: This has high utility value because it can break choke point defenses, and not much else. Unless you have a team that is coordinated, and willing to work with you, then this ultimate will probably be absolutely useless.

Suggestions: I think that Sombra could easily have a place in the meta if she is tweaked only slightly.

One thing that I think must happen is to make her hack faster so that it might actually be useful.

Another idea would be to allow her hacking to amplify damage dealt by Sombra, but not by other heroes.

Invisibility needs to be quicker in general. Quicker start period, quicker ending period. An alternative would be to allow the ability to end abruptly. Ie: Time between shooting and invisibility is 0, but it ends invisibility, similar to how D.Va's boosters work.

Honestly, even if the above changes to invisibility are too much, than at least make her shut up so that she can surprise the enemy instead of being immediately murdered because she announced her presence.

EMP could make enemy heroes caught in the radius take slightly increased damage in addition to silencing them.

All this being said, I will probably continue playing Sombra because I have some kind of sadistic love for cripples, bastards, and broken things. I think that in the future, any hours I clock in with Sombra now will help me in the future if she gets buffed. I did this once before when I decided to main D.Va when she was considered to be a terrible pick. Now I have close to a 60% win rate with her.

TL;DR: Sombra's abilities are too slow to be effective. Either change their mechanics or their speed and she would be a good hero. At any rate, I will continue to play the hero in hopes that either Blizzard buffs her or I become better.
