Does anyone have a link to the video/gif of a skeleton scaring the hell out of a player in FNV?

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 11:01 AM PST

I know this isn't the kind of post you would want to see here but I'm hoping someone can deliver and help find this video.
The clip is a player going through the Bison Steve Hotel and stumbles upon a skeleton in a bathtub with some jet in the skeletons lap. He picks up the jet and the skeleton spazzes out and the player unloads two rounds of buckshot into the wall.
EDIT: Jesus Christ I come home from work and I have over 40 messages in my inbox, 90% of which are "RemindMe!"'s. Still haven't found it yet.
UPDATE: SOURCE NOT FOUND, THE SEARCH CONTINUES

Someone is finally overhauling The Combat Zone!

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 03:10 PM PST

COMBAT ZONE OVERHAUL by BangBangYouAreDead
Thought I'll give a shoutout to a mod that is aiming to overhaul the Combat Zone! That includes adding new NPCs, features and hopefully (They did stress it might be quite difficult) restoring the cut dialogue, match betting and so on.
I take no credit for this. I suggest you support BangBangYouAreDead and hopefully we can finally get the Combat Zone we all wanted!

Pranks can be very heart breaking when involving Fallout

So at work we have this tradition that was started this year where we pass around Rudolph as an anti-elf-on-the-shelf you either get some prank played on you or the reindeer leaves behind a pile of chocolate....
To my surprised while I was on a call today one of our front desk employees brings back to me the box in the first image. I saw that it was from Bethesda so I thought it could be from my secret santa sending me a funko or something from their store (we did a work secret santa too).
Well since the call was taking a while and I was waiting for a response I opened it up just to see what was inside when to my very surprise I spotted the CD. I just locked up with shock, completely surprised and freaking out that I had received what I thought was a Fallout 5 Alpha test!!!. Of course all logical was lost on me at that very moment. I was too busy thinking about just what I could do to build a gaming rig that would allow me to run Fallout 5 on it.
While I was working those details out I was quick to set it aside carefully and start reading through the very official sound letter, no taking into consideration the obvious phony look of the header and text. I was much to busy thinking about what location it could be, what kind of data I was bound to see at such an early Alpha stage.
After a little while the call was finally over and I was afforded a few minutes of break to examine the box further. See what was below the letter and CD was an object wrapped in brown wrapping paper like this I then proceeded to unwrap the Rudolph at the very end of the album.
It was at that very moment everything came crashing down on me in utter devastation. It was a very good prank, the timing was right catching me on the phone, I had recently gotten deeply involved in a new play through of Fallout 4 with mods so I was busy sharing that around work, and I was not able to give it my full attention immediately. I learned a hard lesson today, not to trust packages at work unless I am expecting it and that I work with an evil genius who I can only hope to rival with a revenge prank. Hopefully you may have some ideas!!
TL;DR: I learn the hard way that Rudolph is an evil bastard and that I am too gullible when it comes to Fallout

The Traitorous Hero

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 12:19 PM PST

I am the hero of the NCR. I took back Nelson, restored water to the sharecropper farms, made a deal between the Kings and Ambassador Crocker, secured the help of the Boomers in the upcoming battle of Hoover Dam, and rooted out the mole in Camp Golf. Unfortunately, I accidentally stole a pencil, so now I must be shot on sight.

I never met Malcolm Holmes

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 06:40 PM PST

I'm level 50 and have done a large part of the game- only recently have I heard of Malcolm Holmes through some discussion posts. I read on his wiki page that sometimes he can be killed by enemies before the character meets him. I suppose that's what happened. Farewell, Malcolm. We barely knew ye.

The best location in 'Fallout 3'?

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 12:33 PM PST

'Fallout 3' did have some seriously memorable locations, many of which were completely unconnected to quests. My favourite is definitely Vault 106. Working through there was far more fun than any other vault to me thanks to the hallucinations, enemies, and the te general sense of having no idea what the fuck was going on. Good times.

Why was Fallout 3 made?

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 06:57 PM PST

Don't get me wrong, I fucking love Fallout 3. Hands down my favorite game, and I'm glad Bethesda made it. But why exactly did they start it, according to the wiki, Interplay was working on a third game in the late stages of development when they were bought by Bethesda. Why'd Bethesda start an entirely new game? I know a lot of the stuff from Van Buren was used in New Vegas, but again, why start an entirely new game when you already have one thats close to completion. Also does anyone know if the name Van Buren is copyrighted?

Fallout 4 Review - No Todds, No Masters

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 11:51 PM PST

Grab an icy-cold Nuka Cola and settle in, Vault Dwellers, for a three hour holotape reviewing the most controversial entry in our catalogue to date!

No Todds, No Masters

* This isn't my work, but I feel as though it's fairly well reasoned and gives an in-depth examination of Fallout 4's most contentious elements.

Im having a lot of Fun with F4 and all its DLC

Seriously, it redefined the whole game for me. I have allready finished Far harbour, not really a fan since there were some bugs, Vault 88 was a lot of fun, specially designing a massive vault, Nuka Cola, so far so good. Its been fun.
Automatron, ehh, more or less.
I restarted a whole new game and I found that the DLC was added really well, I mean it blended really well with the main story line, and Ive allready logged in 100 hours without finishing the main quest.

Is it just me, or does the SS swim really, really fast?
Posted: 19 Dec 2016 10:54 AM PST

I don't have any ranks of the Aqua perk, but the SS still swims lakes and rivers wicked fast. I feel like I'm in a speedboat or something like that.

Fallout 2 - Upon entering the NCR Bazaar, the game crashes.

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 10:12 PM PST

So I am 42h in the game after not playing it for years, yesterday I went to the NCR, did some quests, the usual stuff, I actually completed every quest there. When I got Robodog, every time I would try to get to the bazaar (The entrance of the freaking map), the game would crash showing this error: https://i.gyazo.com/4544737392a084f4c43dca92868eb450.png
"The instruction at 004a4991f referenced memory at da52e2fc The memory could not be read from Click OK to terminate the application"
I know it's when I try to enter the NCR Bazaar because I reloaded a previous save game, when I was in it and the game simply crashed, I then reloaded a save before I entered the Bazaar for the first time, reached the NCR (therefore entering the Bazaar) it crashed again.
I completely reinstalled the game, deleted all of it's content (But backed-up my save games) and once it was re-installed, I re-established the saves and it crashed again upon entering the area. I also looked online for answers and didn't find anything except outdated stuff from around 2008. I am using the Steam version (the GOG version installed as well but on another HDD) and I have no mods installed or any form of unofficial patches.
If any of you boys and girls know what could be causing that error I would be infinitely grateful, Eva Sanders, the 16yo female Porn Star/Ranger/Jet Addict/Redding Sheriff/VC Citizen/Chosen One/ would be grateful as well.
