Hey Guys GimR Here,

I've known about this for a while & I'm sick of PMing top players and the like to get them to promote themselves better so I'd figure I'd make a post on here for the better of the Smash Community.

Twitter Search absolutely sucks. On top of this, when someone becomes your fan or decides they want to reach out to you they won't immediately know your twitter name. If you don't do my following tip then you're making it harder for your fans to find you.

So, why does Twitter search suck? Well, quite simply put, the search bar either reads your Twitter "Title" or your "@name" when someone is looking for you. On top of that it reads those two names Left to Right. What does this mean? It means that if your tag isn't at the beginning of your title or your @name then you WILL NOT show up in a twitter search even if someone puts your tag and are already following you.

The best example of this is Mango. His Title is "Joseph Marquez" and his @name is "@C9Mang0". If you search "Mango" or "Mang0" on Twitter Search he will NOT SHOW UP. Even if you follow him. Sad thing about this is that google searching someone's Twitter name is actually better for finding them lol. Anyways, Use this tip so people can find you! Strong Twitter following and communication with said following is important for your growth and the scene's growth as a whole!

Edit: You may be able to put your tag anywhere in your title, I might have been wrong about that. Better safe then sorry though :p

Smash 64 Genesis Player Fund Update - Alvin is coming, Japan seeking funding

Earlier this week I posted that Alvin was seeking funding for G4. We got a lot of donations and Alvin and Mariguas are both now confirmed for G4.

With only a few days left, two Japanese players are also looking for help to come to the US. I've already posted about Yu-Kun and his accomplishments - he has gotten together some money to fund part of ticket. Due to some deal searching and prior donations, he only needs $250 more to get his ticket and compete at G4.

Last time I also mentioned a 2nd Japanese player - k y s k has also been approved to take off work and wants to attend. k y s k is on the short list of best Kirby players in Japan (and the world). He has finished top 5 in the annual Kanto tournament 4 years in a row. In 2016, he finished 3rd, with impressive wins over Haha, Sekirei, and FAUST along the way. k y s k is also planning to contribute to the cost of his ticket, but every donation will be a huge help to bringing him to G4.

Yu-Kun and k y s k are both competing in Tokai, the first sponsored Japanese major weekend. Both advanced out of pools and at the time of this post, bracket is streaming live at https://www.twitch.tv/ayatama0901.

ANTi Lifetime Stats against Top 15 (with gamecount)

ANTi's coming in crisp with the christmas special look at dem prepatch stats thoe :0

I divided the Statistic in prepatch and postpatch (Patch 1.1.5). For the prepatch part i used the Panda Global Ranking since it came out just 2 months after the patch. For the postpatch part i used the Reddit Ranking, because i thought its actually quiet reasonable and the most recent. For the Lifetime Statistic i tried to accumulate the ratings from the 2 Ratings above. (even if i think it's not the most optimal option i couldn't think of a better one without being subjective)
