My Wife's Epiphany

I got the game at launch for ps4 and my wife always loved watching. When the Huntress was released it immediately became her favorite. She loved the mask, she loved the humming, she loved everything. She always wanted me to play as her but I didn't like it so I hardly did.

Recently I get her a PS4 of her own so we could play together. My wife a non-gamer is now rank 8 survivor in less than two weeks. (I'm proud)

The last two days we've been pinned against the Huntress a lot and my wife was loving it. She could never figure out why she loved it so much... that is until now. It finally clicked for her, the song the Huntress hums is a Russian lullaby that her mother would always sing to her, "Bayu Bayushki Bayu". She was born and raised in Ukraine, now living in the US. She even told me in the past that there was a lullaby that her mom would sing, and that the wolves would come and eat her if she didn't go to sleep. The wolf head cosmetic makes so much sense now.

TL;DR It clicked for my Ukrainian wife that the Huntress hums, "Bayu Bayushki Bayu", a Russian lullaby. Her love for the Huntress is verified.
