Arma 3 Faces of war mod help

Hello. I am currently in the making of a mission where US marines have to storm a beach on Utes and the Japanese are defending. The only problem is I need some LVT's to land on the beach but when I set a waypoint for the beach (on careless mode of course) the LVTs like to stray off course and land 500 meters from the original location. Can anybody help me to make them move in a straight pathway toward the beach and land?

So to make story short i was told by my ArmA 3 clan to make campaing, so we got some interesting plot about our unit hunting companions of suicide attacker (based on real situation in afghanistan) so it should be interesting for few peoples who are in command and military police but what to do about others how to keep them entertained? Any advice how to keep it interesting for normal players in the field? Btw it'll be on Lythium

Edit: I forgot to mention we are trying to play full realism + roleplay.

Have you ever REALLY explored the unknown of Altis...

I never thought roaming the land of altis would reveal such amazing sights... and something much.. much more sinister.

I believe I have found some sort of "glitch" or tear in the game code. I was driving up to one of my favorite locations on the island (the kavala cell tower) also called channel 7 news. I was pulling up to the gate and some sort of anomaly came out of the one story building there. Keep in mind I am in the editor just playing around; no AI, No players, just me... and this thing. The creature cane out of the house and looked at me in my car. I thought I had found some sort of Easter egg but something told me this was not apart of the game. It was just a black hole in my game, with two piercing eyes looking at my character. Suddenly my chat blew up full of messages, all saying 4 words. Free Me "Private Patten". Private patten is my steam and in game name. I don't know how it recognized it but I'm still not sure what it meant. If this is some sort of Easter egg added by the developers I want to know because something was seriously wrong with what I saw. If anyone has any ideas on why I saw this thing, or if they have seen it themselves please tell me!

Zeus Placement Help Needed

So I've been messing about in-mission with zeus, trying to see how I can build and place stuff with a live mission. But my major problem right now is that I can't rotate stuff! everything is attached to the terrain orientation, which is fucking bullshit. I know that I can adjust this very easily in the editor, but I'm thinking of how it can be done with a live mission, with players active.

the current issue I have: I want to place a remote designator on the cliff edge overlooking the main valley in tanoa. but when I move the designator onto the rock cliffs, it will "orient" to the terrain below - at a 90 degree angle to the horizon. I tried "dropping" it from the air (because that's the only way I've found to level something) and it falls over, just like all turrets do. I placed a level surface (hesco) into the cliff as a static object, but it places oriented to the terrain still.

I also tried using a preset to set the angle, but then it clipped and exploded. can anyone help with how to level objects in zeus, not the editor? or is that beyond the powers of god?
