I'm a tennis coach, and it started raining today during practice, so I got the kids off the courts so they wouldn't get wet and just sat with them while I waited for their parents to pick them up. One of them brought up smash bros, and immediately all the other kids started talking about it. One of them was like "did you know Dark samus is gonna be in it?!" I started talking with them about the game and most of them are really excited for it. It made me happy to see that the directs are reaching audiences outside of the smash community, and I think it's proof that this game is going to bring so many new smashers in, and that the community will grow a lot from it. Excited to see where this game takes us, and to see who the next god of the smash competitive scene will be (let's go Nairo)
