Yeah I know 50 might not be that much for you guys but this is the first season I wanted to try Hardcore, its been quite scary, but as you can see in the right down corner the word "Profile" shows up when I try to push a button and all the trash mobs trapped me so I couldn't flee.

I'm gonna go and cry in a corner now.

[External Programming] C# Library for Access to the Blizzard APIs

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 07:05 AM PDT

This is the Second iteration of my Blizzard API C# Library, and has undergone a few changes since the first one. The first library has been removed, and everyone is recommended to upgrade.

Changelog (The list is not extensive, and several changes may be undocumented.)

  • Client now supports Official WoW and Diablo APIs. Along with a secondary client to access Unofficial Overwatch APIs. (Provided by Ovrstat and Tekrop).
  • Several Functions have been renamed in order to better reflect their usage.
  • Added a Download Helper Class with Functions to Download Raw JSON.
  • Added Image Helper Class to help return Images from the API. (May not be fully functional yet)   As always, you can find the code here: Github

You can also find the Library over on Nuget:

Install-Package BlizzardCSharp

UPDATES -

Version 1.1 has just been pushed to Nuget, waiting on Publishing. But it should now be able to be used in both .NET Framework and .NET Standard.

  • .NET Framework Version - 4.7.1
  • .NET Standard Version - 2.0

A list of Elite monster names

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 10:03 AM PDT

I'm bored of hunting Primal so I started hunting Elites ( yellow ) to count how many name combinations they can have.

Their names all follow the same formula:

First name + Last name OR First name + Title

First names: some Blizzard's employees and famous streamers.

Last name: usually 2 words joined together that sound cool. Pretty WoW-ish.

Title: either <coma> + <phrase> OR <the> + <something nasty here>

Didn't find any new name recently so I'm not sure if I missed something.

Regarding the recent announcement video...

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 09:33 PM PDT

If you pause at 0:51...in the background the guy looks like he's got the diablo 2 main online page open. I think he's working on something in the background. Could be anything but I thought i'd mention this.

Thoughts? I might be blowing things way out of proportion because of the hype but i digress.

Trouble getting "The Bone Collector" achievement

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 09:10 PM PDT

I'm going through the achievements and I keep trying to get this one but it won't update me having explored "Vault of the Assassin" even though I've done so multiple times. Is this a known bug?

Best Solo Wizard build?

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 05:41 PM PDT

Just got the game on PC after playing on Xbox for a while on a paragon 80 monk, and i'm currently grinding on a lower level wizard account (level 65, paragon 0). I'm still fairly new to the game, and I've been seeing people say something called "firebird" is apparently the best Wiz build? I have no clue what this is but if anyone could let me know/give me recommendations on good solo Wiz builds I'd greatly appreciate it.

Terrible lag with large mobs of enemies

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 12:57 PM PDT

Hi, everyone. I recently bought a physical copy of Diablo II (w/ LoD) and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. However, everytime I encounter a large groups of enemies in a room, the game slows down terribly. Once I manage to clear some enemies though, the lag goes away. Aside from this issue, I don't have any problems with this game. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried solutions like this one from Blizzard but it's still lagging.

I know these kinds of things happen with older games and modern systems (I'm playing on a Windows 8) but it's really annoying. I don't know if it helps but my Diablo 2 is currently at version 1.12. Do I need to install modern patches or something?

Much appreciated

Should Blizzard finally sanction botting in Diablo 2?

Posted: 13 Aug 2018 09:57 AM PDT

Maybe Diablo 2 Remake could have a built in botting system for all players to utilize at their leisure. That way everyone would be on even playing field and there would be literally no use for 3rd party botting programs. Maybe this is the most fun/fair solution to the perpetual botting epidemic plaguing Diablo 2

What alternatives are there? Blizzard cannot be sending out massive ban waves every 6 months - it's a customer service nightmare
