Sorry if this is a total noob question. I dont know much about ARMA 3 multiplayer and i just began using the A3 launcher and gave exile a shot.

My question is do bases you build stay there? is it like everytime you join that specific server then your base is there when you log in?

Hello there. I've got a bit of a problem and was wondering if any of you could help me out.

So, I'm playing through The East Wind campaign (never really finished it) and am running into issues with my friendly troops. It seems to be a problem with the 'combat mode' system.

The mission starts, and the AI will fall into formation, and we'll begin moving to our objective. They respond to commands, stay in formation, and act appropriately. Everything by the numbers. But the second we hit contact they jump into 'Combat' mode and.....never exit it. Even when the enemy are cold and dead, the friendly AI refuses to call 'all clear' and return to the 'Aware' mode. This leaves them stuck using bounding overwatch, shouting that they're moving, calling out every single thing within a two kilometer radius, and generally not being able to keep pace with me. Switching the combat mode manually has no effect. I can tell them to be stealthy, to chill the fuck out, to just act normal, doesn't matter. These guys are acting like they're under fire all the time.

And after hearing "What is your position?" for the umpteenth time because somebody was too busy playing pretend to keep up, I thought "I wonder if this is happening to anybody else?". So that's where you guys and gals come in.

Am I the only one with this problem, or are there others?

What could be causing my AI to act like paranoid schizophrenics?

Is there any known fix for this? Because right now the whole 'squad command' element of the game is unusable.

CAS/Hell Pilot help

I'm looking for an experienced pilot in both an A-10 and Helicopters to help me improve my flying skill. I have somewhere around 300 hours in game but just can't seem to get flying. I understand basics but need help with more advanced flight. Any and all help is welcome.

I left pc gaming 10 years ago for console. ARMA3 is bad ass enough for me to come back. What type computer off the shelf do I need to run it?
