| Posted: 06 Jul 2018 06:12 PM PDT Imagine this : You beat Skyrim (Not too hard to imagine, I'd assume many people have). But you didn't just beat it, you ended it. You did every quest, every dungeon, killed every boss, cleared every stronghold. You are an unstoppable being with the abilities of the gods resting on your shoulders, waiting for your call. You are a master of the arcane, a king of stealth, and an immovable object on the field of battle. Every living being knows your legend, from Skyrim to Oblivion. Imagined it? Good. That was my character (High elf named Thantos). I had done every possible thing in Skyrim (Obviously not EVERY possible thing, but I had a lot of time. Also I didn't mod this character because it was going to be vanilla.) I was a vampire lord with maxed out Nightingale armor and literally every weapon. After the final quest (Dragonborn DLC sidequest) and the final dungeon, I decided what I needed to do. I went back to my house in Whiterun and put all the items I had collected over the years in the chest. It was kind of sad to look at them all, literally so much time was spent getting it all. I kept the essential stuff like armor and my weapons of choice. I then headed out, embarking on my final journey (As a side note I never liked followers so I never had one). I walked and walked until I finally reached the small town of Ivarstead. I climbed those steps that I had walked on so long ago. The way was mainly clear, except for a wolf that had some death wish. When I finally reached High Hrothgar I continued through. Walking through those walls on stone I had some time to reflect on my choices, and all the things I had done. Soon enough, I was outside again. Something was compelling me to talk to Paarthurnax one final time, so I did (No I didn't kill him, my choice. Yes I did LITERALLY everything else). I had already run through all the dialogue options with him so I made a point of saying goodbye. I continued on yet again, going towards the highest point possible. It took some time and effort but eventually I made it to that highest point. (May or may not have used TCL a tiny bit). Once there, I took off my mask, looking at a face I had long forgotten. Thantos Stood tall, looking out towards the horizon. I watched as the sun set down, and the moons and stars arose. I wondered if I the choices I made were correct, if I should have done things differently. I listened to the music in that world one last time. And, with great sadness, I saved. I exited, knowing I would never go back to this world. A quote from Peter Pan goes, "Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting." But I shall not forget this world or my good friend Thantos. TL;DR Skyrim's a good game. [link] [comments] | ||

| What language is Hadvar speaking in the first scene? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:12 AM PDT Most of the time he's speaking English but then there's one bit where he says "To the block prisoner, nai'zinizi" Anyone know what language the last word is in and what it means? [link] [comments] | ||

| Does anyone else kill Ulfric by shouting him to death? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:43 AM PDT I think it's nice poetic justice to kill him the same way he killed the king. The war was started with a shout and ending with a shout. [link] [comments] | ||
| I hope we get to see some fucking massive Creatures in TES: VI. Posted: 06 Jul 2018 06:32 PM PDT I'm talking massive, things the size of the Titans, Silt Striders, Colossal Atronachs, and Mantikora. Something the size of an Ancient Giant may be a bit overkill though... [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:03 AM PDT I am in the middle of a mission and all of a sudden, in the middle of a conversation, Vilkas interrupts. I brushed it off and continued talking to the other, person, finished the conversation. Again, Vilkas starts talking. I start running from him, he starts following me. All I want is to continue a mission, but he makes won't stop following me. I try attacking and it worked after two hits, yet the person I am supposed to be following starts attacking too. I can't escape him. HELP [link] [comments] | ||

| Did anyone else enjoy reading 'Beggar Prince?' Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:36 AM PDT This is my second playthrough, during the first I never bothered to read any of the books. Now I began doing so, and so far 'Beggar Prince' is my favorite. It read like a classic, really dark and gritty fairytale. [link] [comments] | ||
