I just noticed that it has started getting a bit of appreciation recently which is nice considering it has been with us forever yet never receives that much praise considering how incredibly important it is in this kind of game. Its free AND offers a shooting range and armory to compare weapons and stuff like that. It even has a ranking system. I really dont understand the reasoning behind this. Posted: 12 Jul 2018 09:28 AM PDT This week's event mode (starting tomorrow (or today for some people)) will be the exact same as it was last week - the Hunters and Marksman one (where it's shotguns only except you can find snipers in airdrops) There are so many possible event modes that having the same twice in a row just seems... bad. The reason for this appears to be 'if you didn't get to play it last weekend, you will get another chance this weekend'. But why not just make the event mode last longer (the entire week or a few days more than usual) to allow everyone a chance, rather than making it the exact same twice in a row? What makes you think that people who were unable to play it last weekend will be able to play it this weekend? If they're working at the weekend, it doesn't matter which weekend it is, they won't be able to play it. Just make event mode last longer rather than repeating events. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Worse FPS and terrible dips after PC Update 17.1 Posted: 12 Jul 2018 04:16 AM PDT GTX 1060 typically get 90-130 FPS before this update, am now getting 60-100 with dips down to 30. My game was running normally all day until the maintenance was over and the servers were back up. Also some awful rubber banding is back, people teleporting, and of course the dreaded desync. Asked a bunch of people and they all agreed the dips and general FPS has regressed quite substantially with this new update, anybody else have any issues? Can we expect a 17.2 hotfix that makes us all uninstall and go play IoN xD? [link] [comments]  | ||
