LAST WEEK'S THEME: CRUISE SHIP

If my comments here seem rushed today, it's because I'm in a rush this morning and wasn't able to do them last night (I wasn't feeling too good). If any of you have any other questions or comments, just post them below my comment after!

Anyway, really liked how this ship looked. Liked the shape of your ship and especially liked the front of it, which really had a modern look to it. You used colours great, not keeping to the white quartz that you were using in the walls. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about the outside of your ship. However, the inside of the ship I found to be quite bare. It was very easy to tell that it was literally the shell of the outside you were building in and barely any other decorations or designs were in place. Despite that, I do think you did a good job making it at least a bit interesting on the inside.

Good build!

Interesting take on the challenge by creating a nether cruise ship. I really liked where you took this one and really liked the outside of your build. However, to me at least, your whole build felt just a tiny bit off. I think it's because it was so tall yet so skinny. I realize this may have been a design choice because it's supposed to be a fantasy cruise ship in the nether however for me, it just made the dimensions of the build feel off. But, as I said, really liked your colours choices and also your design on the top deck. Was a convincing nether ship!

Great build!

First off, I'll say I really liked the top of your ship and also the shape of the front of the ship. However, it was too large when you got to the back of it I found, with it just being a rectangle that went up. As you said in your comment though, you bit off more than you could chew but going really ambitious, I'm not going to dwell on these points because you were probably planning on doing something but ran out of time. So, I'll just say, good start to your build, just make sure next time to not go too big next time!

Honourable mentions

No one...

Introduction

Let's make a town square this week, with buildings of your choice lining the sides of it!

And, since it's summer, there'll be one requirement that will be sure to cool us off!

New Textures

People have been asking about the new textures. As of now, the textures are only in the testing phase and will possibly change in the future. We have decided that we'll wait from allowing them in the build challenge as of now until there's a more official release of them. This may change next challenge as we, the judges, haven't had a full discussion on the matter but as of now, this is the ruling. Happy building!

How do you discipline yourself to keep playing the same world? I always start new worlds when I get bored or come back after a break.

Craft-O-Matic, or how Nitwits craft

Nitwit Crafting

I have created a "little" contraption to simulate crafting in a machine. Ingredients are dropped into a water stream and transported into a "process chamber". A stomper goes down and removes the items by creating an item elevator. When the stomper goes up a dropper releases the product. Ingredients and products get recycled. The machine is Nitwit-operable, I think their coat is fitting for a machine shop.

Here's how it works:
