Let us all remember the Ingenuity of Bohemia's FADE system Posted: 09 Jul 2018 04:19 PM PDT Never knew this, but Bohemia has been putting an ingenious anti-piracy device in every CD of their games since Operation Flashpoint. It's called the FADE system, and it's pure awesome. GG BI. Here's an excerpt from the Wiki page of it and what happens in Arma 2. "FADE will begin by gradually decreasing the accuracy of the player's weapons, making it very difficult to hit a target. FADE might reverse the left/right controls of vehicles, or make them randomly start and stop moving. Why isn't this a feature yet? Posted: 09 Jul 2018 06:54 PM PDT Simple request and general question to all readers really, why hasn't Bohemia not added shooting launchers while prone it's possible to do an animation glitch using VA but come on it's 2018 and no prone with launchers yet ACE 1 & 2 done this years ago. From what I can tell all the resources like animations exist but aren't used and that is mind boggling to me. I personally find it annoying when things like aircraft carriers and destroyers are being added but core infantry features don't exist these include but aren't limited to prone with launchers, climbing/mantling etc.. Arma still won't run smooth after optimization Posted: 09 Jul 2018 08:30 PM PDT I've read the guide, and followed them as best as possible. Yet I still struggle to get 30fps+. Just for reference, my laptops internals: GTX 1050 I5-7300HQ 8GB DDR4 Ram Arma eats 85% of my RAM, and maxes it out. Basically my laptop runs at 100% RAM usage at all times? Does the tanks DLC missile improvements affect the jets DLC? Where are all the players at? Posted: 09 Jul 2018 06:06 PM PDT So, I just added up all the players from every server that's available to me and its about 5k players. According to steam charts, there are currently 20k players and a peak of 30k today so I don't get it. I'm from south America and I have acces to some EU servers and most NA ones, so either people are playing where my connection doesn't reach or there are 20k people playing on private communities.
