Daily Bundles aren’t the end of Smite

I can't believe I have to say it, but yes daily bundles aren't the end of Smite. I've seen so many posts recently saying how Hi-Rez is trying to suck the player base dry one final time before killing the game and going all in on Paladins.

Hi-Rez isn't trying to kill the game that has allowed them to fund Paladins, Hand of the Gods, and now Realm Royale. Daily deals like this are just Hi-Rez's way of cashing in on the same system that Fortnite has popularized.

It's no different than hundreds of games implementing cash only loot boxes. PC Gamer made an article last December detailing the rise of loot boxes and it wouldn't surprise me if daily bundles reach that same level of success throughout the industry.

If you really want to see a Hi-Rez game that's "dying" go look at Hand of the Gods, Stew confirmed that it's not successful enough to warrant major content updates, but without new updates there's no new incentive for people to start/keep playing the game. Now it's stuck in limbo where there's no new updates for more content, but still has enough of a player base to warrant keeping the servers running.

TL;DR: For the umpteenth time, Smite is not dying. Hi-Rez is just implementing a new way of making money.

TIL You can uncap your frame rate on smite.

Are you like me and spent $1000+ on a PC and then saw no improvement in your smite fps? Do you get more fps in games that look far more demanding than smite ever has been? Well no more! With the growth of Realm Royale I noticed that some people have uncapped framerates while other were stuck at the usual 150fps that I'm stuck at on all hirez games. After doing some research (and I mean very little research) I discovered that these people were going into the config file and changing a couple of settings. That's it. Now I'm going to list how to do this down below, but be warned. Your mileage may very depending on what your computer is. Chances are if you weren't already getting the usual 150fps you won't see an improvement. I'm running a 970 and an intel i7-4790K and I'm getting about 250 at the high end and about 180 at the low end. Tutorial down below.

Another thing to take into consideration is Easy Anticheat. Now I rolled the dice and so far I haven't gotten in trouble for this. I just know EAC has a past of banning people for little things. So I'm not only posting this to show everyone, but also to ask Hirez. Are we going to get banned for this? I would certainly hope not because it's as easy as changing something from "true" to "false". I would also like to ask Hirez to consider allowing this as an option for everyone. I personally think this would be a big deal for a lot of higher level players. Maybe not a huge deal by any means, but that little bit of extra smoothness can go a long way. So here we go.

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention originally is that your game has to be in fullscreen for it to work. No Borderless Windowed for anyone still using it.

If I cant party up with my friends who are in Silver or qualifying why do you stick them on my teams...… I feel like it would be easy to just match people in game that are plus or minus one(but not both). for an example a game could only be a Gold-Plat game or a Plat-Diamond game or Diamond-masters game. no game should consist of a skill gap for 2 divisions if you cant even party up with friends like that. Where is the logic in this and how is it fun for the community? This match was the opposite of fun. plus I only waited like 32sec in Q before. I would have rather waited 10min and got teammates who have an idea how to play.

[God Concept] Zirnitra, Dragon God of Sorcery (Slavic Mage)

Lore: Zirnitra, also known as Rosvodiz, is a black dragon, god, and sorcerer. When the Wends battled the invading Saxons, it was Zirnitra on their flag.

Appearance: A sleek, pitch black scaled dragon with only two forelegs

Great black wings with indigo cracks along his scales keep the rest of him aloft, however he does not move roughly, but instead as though with languid, yet powerful, purpose, walking on his legs while his wings keep his winding, coiled tail aloft.

(Slavic Mage) Ranged, Magical

Pros: High Damage, Tanky Cons: No Mobility, No CC

Passive: Magic Beast - Every time an enemy god uses an ability within 40 of Zirnitra (not including toggles or stance switching), he gains a stack of Sorcery, increasing his magical power by 2% per stack, with max stacks of 20% magical power at 10 Sorcery. Stacks are exhausted via use of Zirnitra's abilities.

Additionally, Zirnitra's basic attacks are linked to his stacks of Sorcery, gaining a wisp of sorcerous magic hovering around him per stack. Each wisp fires for 10% of Zirnitra's basic attack damage.

Ability 1: Spell Roar - Zirnitra roars, firing a large magic projectile forward that passes through enemies. The projectile stops upon enemy gods, doing damage. If Zirnitra has wisps from his passive active, the wisps will collectively fire a single projectile at 50% of Spell Roar's damage +10% per additional wisp up to 5 wisps and 50% additional damage to the secondary projectile . This additional attack fires 0.5s after the initial casting. This ability exhausts 2 stacks of Sorcery.

Damage: 70/110/150/180/210 (+80% of your magical power) Range: 60 Cooldown: 12s

Ability 2: Mark of Sorcery - Zirnitra marks an enemy. If the enemy attacks within 2s, the Mark spreads to the nearest applicable enemy, within 20, and so on up to 5 enemies total. If a marked enemy is hit by one of Zirnitra's abilities, they will detonate. This ability does not exhaust Sorcery.

Detonation Damage: 80/120/160/200/240 Range: 35 Detonation Radius: 15 Cooldown: 16s

Ability 3: Rake the Foolish - Zirnitra rakes those in front of him with his claws, doing damage to enemies. Within 2s, Zirnitra may use this ability again at a 20% reduced cost. Zirnitra may repeat this until he no longer has enough Sorcery stacks. Each additional use of this ability after the initial casting will reduce Sorcery stacks by 2.

Damage: 55/75/95/115/135 (+100% of your magical power) Cooldown: 0 (uses Sorcery stacks)

Ultimate: Raze - Zirnitra breathes out a rolling wave of pure sorcerous energy in a wide cone in front of him, doing massive damage. At greater than 5 Sorcery stacks, Zirnitra breathes out an additional wave 0.5s after the initial casting. The additional wave will exhaust 5 Sorcery stacks.

Damage: 350/450/550/650/750 (+80% of your magical power) Range: 75 Cooldown: 90s

Why is the game still punishing us in ranked when someone leaves the match?

I wanted to ask this for so long, but now I had 4 matches in a row and it was the last fucking straw, why the hell is it so okay for people to just leave ranked matches and let you get dragged into elo hell??? I'm being matched with worse and worse teammates because of losses due to people straight up rage quitting in ranked, what the hell?

Is there a clear answer to this? Why does it count as a lose still? When a team has a DC, it should count as a win to the winning team and a no contest for the "losing" team. It's so damn unfair and makes me want to uninstall the game, saps so much of my energy from my day to try to raise up the ranks until I get some asshole who hates his life quit on us and leave us to suffer, and the developers don't do anything about it?

Small Bakasura Buff

It would be very nice if Bakasura could eat enemy spawned minions - like nenes and clay soldiers. A small buff but useful. I always found it annoying that he couldn't eat them cause in my eyes enemy-spawned minions are still minions.

Edit to clarify: yes others are pets but this little buff could help him in teamfights - can't break him, but would be nice to eat that annoying Nene or one of the cats and heal up.

Going into Dragon Form during Ao Kuang Ult but not Executing?

There's been some times where I get into the Execution animation, but right before I execute, my teammate kills my target; so I just end up transforming into a dragon without killing my target. This has happened to me a few times and it kind of sucks because 1. I don't get the Kill Credit and 2. I don't heal because I didn't kill the person. Is this working as intended? Do I just have to time my ult better?

P.S. Not sure if this is a bug, but the r/SMITEbug subreddit is private now so I don't know where else to post this.
