HERE IT GOES AGAIN

The Summer Split is halfway over. We've seen a ton of good smite with a lot of surprises, especially in Europe. Obey managed to 2-0 NRG, Mouse managed to 2-0 Obey. We've seen roster changes, with HalfDevil joining the frey of the struggling SK squad and we saw Spudio elevate Mouse to new neights. North America is a little more straightforward, but we have seen the emergence of a new triangle, with Splyce beating Space Station, Space Station beating EUnited, and EUnited beating Splyce. Watch the matchups between those three in the second of the split as they ought to be close ones. Be sure to pay attention to teams like CLG, who had a shaky start but ended on a relatively strong note and for Trifecta and their new-ish roster with Paul and Zapman.

I am sure it may not be a very important detail but the Mayan pantheon icon is using the Aztec Sun Stone.

Sure, if you google "Mayan calendar" there are a lot of sites using the Aztec equivalent but with a quick search you will find out its wrong

The Mayan and Aztec culture may be from Mesoamerica but they were founded with a little more of 1000 years apart, it's like confusing the Greeks and the Romans just because they were near each other on a map

Here is the Aztec sun stone or Aztec Calendar, here is the Mayan pantheon icon and a map where the brown part would be where the Aztecs settled and the green part would be the Mayan territory

Just thought I would share a little story that happened over the weekend...

So I was out to lunch at a restaurant with my Dad yesterday for Fathers Day and I looked up to see across the room a guy with a 'you rock cancel that' t-shirt on. Mid sentence talking to my dad, I get up immediately without saying anything to him I basically ran over to the dude and was so happy and I went up to him and yelled "Smite!" and he responded "yea man!" like long lost brothers, and we ended up talking for 5-10 minutes about the game, who are mains were, bugs, what platform we play on and it was such a funny experience. I have been playing Smite for over 2 years and this was my first time ever talking with someone who also played. I went back to the table and my dad said "what the hell was that about??"

"uhhhh I play the same video game as this guy" ...Lets just say he was very annoyed lol

Anyway, pointless story I know but I thought I would share with you guys

The buffs in joust don't have your name on it!

I was playing a ranked joust match as Athena with an Ah Muzen Cab and Anubis in my team. Everything was going pretty smoothly and we were winning. While the enemy team backed, we decided to go for our mana buff. Now comes the fun part: Our AMC, being a very mana hungry hunter, took the mana buff, which should be no problem considering he was already ahead of Anubis in damage and was playing well anyway. Our Anubis just starts spamming VER and backs to base and says that he will be AFK due to ONE buff "steal".

Buddy, the buff doesn't have your name on it and if there is another character who can also use it well, don't start crying like it's the end of the world. Well, AMC and I continued 2 against 3 and still won. GG.

We Need More Clan Features

Seeing a player that isn't in a clan is kinda rare in smite, so why are clans being neglected like this?

Ever since this last update, the Number for online players is showing either 0 or 1 and isn't showing the exact number of players online which is a problem for clans that need to monitor their activity closely. The clan leader boards give no benefit to the clan unlike other games where there are rewards for placing in the top 10 or so but in Smite, there is NO reward for placing in the leader boards and nothing that would motivate you to work together as a clan to complete the quests and improve the clan's honor

I don't think the items in the clan store have changed since the start and aren't that much of a reward as they only contain Recolors besides the dark skins which was a great idea but was apparently discontinued for whatever reason. Regarding that, why not make "light" skins and add more chests with higher rewards accessible only after a clan reaches a certain target of honor or number in the leader boards?

Clan Wars could be a possible feature in which clans could fight for dominance in a separate leader board by choosing their elite members to fight against another guild's members in a map specially made for this or in a map already in the game? There could be monthly rewards given out to the clans that top in these leader boards and get special titles or rewards of some sort. These clan wars could be limited to only the top 100 clans or so as there are many small clans with 10 members or so.

Comment if you think Hi-Rez should focus on the clans too as most people are in a clan and could be motivated to log in everyday and play instead of logging in just for collecting daily rewards. Feel free to share the type of features you would like to see implemented

Yeah, Adventures are supposed to be fun, but seeing same gods over and over and over becomes stale, boring and unfun tbh, expecially when you want to try new combos...

Seeing Hercules and Daji basically every match in both teams was boring (when we have some other gods with pull mechanics) and now seeing Aphro + Any Warrior (mainly Herc) is simply boring and anti-fun.

To me this was pretty much the last drop, I have mailed hirez as well for a support ticket because idk why this keeps happening. So in the last 2 days i played, just solo queue, i have been getting messages for reports several times.. low and behond, it was all in games i had dominated and it was an f6 for them. I have never messaged any of them, nor did i act up in game(which i think can be verified with chat history?) Now im not the type that cares for goodwill, but seriously the fact people can abuse the report button and it actually works, is so god damn stupid and if i ever get banned for this stuff I dont know wtf this game is anymore. First time it was funny hirez, 2nd time it got annoying and now im just assuming youre company is filled with monkeys
